Sorry guys. I don't mean to start a PS4 vs Xbox One war. Personally, I don't even see the point. Was just trying to help out NY4Life. Nothing more, nothing less. In the end, all three consoles have their positives and negatives. In time, I'll own all three simply because that's the best way to go.

Re: Xbox One
Originally posted by NY4LifePoints well taken. It's not that I can't buy games for it outside of credit. As a husband and father, I try to use credit as much as possible to treat my gaming habit. This way my wife can't look at me funny. Plus I know that I will need xbox live and a good headset. I traded most of my collection for the PS4 and 5 games at launch. All credit paid. Wii U was my anniversary gift. I figure, If I can make a move now, knowing I will get one eventually, it may make sense. Otherwise, I will use the credit on games that I am not guaranteed to play, or nice headphones I will barely use. I will still want the X1 after that. I got the 360 at launch and that system was not worth it for a while. Eventually, it paid off and I forgot just how much I spent as an early adopter.
I will let you guys know if I make the leap.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Even absent the details it sounds like a pretty great deal. Early access to sports titles and other releases like the new Dragon Age is pretty nice by itself. Toss in free games (Fifa 14, Madden 25, Peggle 2 and Battlefield 4 to start) and it becomes quite a deal if you don't already own them.
Wow.
