It worked great on Thursday night, but there were known issues today. I tweeted the Xbox support about it and they gave me a link to a status page, but I had to leave the house before it was fixed so I'm not sure what ended up happening.

I also asked them about getting Yahoo on there, and it seems to me there is some sort of dispute with MS and Yahoo or something. Yahoo customer service replied and said I should post it to their feedback section, and Xbox Support said this:

Not sure what the issue is, but I wish they would just get their crap together and fix it.

I have my Kinect hooked up through my cable box, the setup when fine but Im not able to turn on/off cable box/tv with Xbox ON/OFF command. What do I need to do to get that to work?

Kinect works great for me, but I cannot get "Xbox On" to work at all. I've tried it over 50 times. Got it to work only once and when I was super close to the kinect. Heard a lot of other people had issues as well.

Xbox on is the toughest command because it is only using the kinect to process it. I've never had to try it 50 times though. Usually works for me in 1-3 tries.

Xbox on works 90% on the first try. Now if there's noise in the background at times I will have an issue then

First, try re-calibrating the Kinect like others have said before. If you have fans or AC units that run in the background, leave those on. Turn your TV/AVR volume 2-3 times louder than it usually is, and be quiet while you re-calibrate.

For Xbox On, act like you are scolding your dog.

"XBOX" (pause 1 second) "On!"

Yeah this.

Eventually it started working in the first couple times . Our bedroom One works first time most times. Our living room has a cathedral ceiling so it works but can take a few tries

Any of the Madden bundle buyers contact Amazon support about the new free game offer? Are we in return window to return and re-order? Might be worth just asking Amazon CS and see if they throw in the free game anyways.

PS - re:NFL app, FFL, Sunday Ticket, etc... This stuff NEVER works well week 1. It'll get better.

You know after all the debate EA Access might be the best $30 I've spent this gen. Keep them coming EA.

Halo: Master Chief Collection bundle is exactly what I hope to see come November. Either the Xbox One either way, getting one bundled with Halo would be ideal.

Would sell Destiny if that specific bundle comes stateside. No interest in that at all.
