Re: Xbox One
I re-enrolled on both xboxes for the preview program....decided that my bedroom one that died (both drive and kinect broke) was an aberration and not caused by being on the preview program.
Hoping that they've gotten a better handle on things and I don't run into issues...if so I'll just unsubscribe again.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Xbox One
Yeah. Last night I had an issue where my XB1 was just stuck at the black screen with the XB1 logo in the middle. I had to do a hard reboot and it resolved the issue. Had to do this a few months ago as well. Im also part of the preview program. Not a huge deal since a hard reboot seems to fix the issue.PSN: ckarlic

Re: Xbox One
I'd check out EA Access to see if it's worth the $30 to you for the year to get a bunch of games [spoiler: it is], and any game demos for starters.Comment

Re: Xbox One
has anyone been able to successfully copy (not move) a game from an external to the internal drive?
i have my external drive for default location on my one, which i am taking with me when i visit family so we can play games without needing to wait for installation for them on their ones. however i want to copy a few games to my internal so those still here at home can play the games.
However whenever i copy the game then remove the external drive, the copy never works. it simply says "just getting things ready" and nothing ever changes, or it actually gives an error and says it cannot be played.
Another funny thing is that the game icons after copy are different. Destiny for example. On the external, it says destiny with the logo and the tower above earth. the copy on the internal has actual people on it. same happened with halo, didnt work and had different icons. same happened with a few downloaded games, didnt work and had different icons.
i know, they can be installed by disk or download again, but this is just on the principle of it. it is much more convenient to select the games from the external and copy to the internal, much faster than DL or disk install. but they never work on the drive copied to.
I tried changing the internal to the default before the copy, hard resets, just about everything. Seems the conclusion is you simply cannot copy games between hard drives and they must be fully installed on each one, unless anyone has any tips?Comment

Re: Xbox One
Just be prepared to spend a good bit more time setting it up than the PS4... Especially if you plan to set it up to control your TV, stereo, etcLast edited by ODogg; 12-23-2014, 07:33 PM.Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20
