Xbox One

Yep, not even there. I've tried restarting multiple times both my system and PC. And its just not there. This is bizarre.

Launch the store and go to the Xbox app. It will download an update. Same thing happened to me.

So I had purchased the Seagate expansion 5TB HDD a couple of weeks ago and last night my girl friend accidentally dropped it while vacuuming the floor and now it doesn't work. I feel it spinning but the light isn't turned on and my xbox isn't recognizing it, am I doomed? I'm pretty sure I could get a replacement but man everything was on it, just mostly bummed that I'm going to have to start Witcher 3 all over again.

If I am not mistaken, shouldn't your saves be up in the cloud?

If you re-install the game on the internal hard drive, your saves "should" sync back to your console as long as you were connected to Live the last time you played, just like if you had a 2nd console or signed into a friend's console.

I think this is right. I purchased another xbox and just had to reinstall my games and all my saves were synced from the cloud. You should be good.

Yep, awesome feature. Go to any Xbox, log into your profile, play any game, it syncs all your save data. No storage limit either.

Has anyone had an issue with remote downloading being inconsistent? I'll make purchases from SmartGlass and sometimes it will still be in the queue when I get home. Happened with my last two GwG purchases.

I'll be updating my pc to Windows 10 some point soon, just have to back up my documents/pictures just in case. Not using the USB tuner yet, still weighing my options (that cheaper one that can do DVR vs. more expensive tuner that doesn't, but may in the future)

OK, I don't know much about Cox. You should start by trying it with a channel like PBS or ABC and then try ESPN or FX or something.

Yeah, i'll mess with it. Still want to get rid of Cox, so not a biggie, and not sure how much I'd use it anyways....Though with 2 xboxes I could use that to pull in my other TV and display on computer, hmmm lol Good for watching multiple things at once

I've been heavily contemplating trading my Ps4 for an Xbox 1. How do you guys feel about the Games for Gold? Have they been solid games?

Thanks for any insight, I haven't paid much attention to the details on the X1 since jumping from 360 to Ps4. I think I'm ready to come back. I really miss Halo.

IMO it's picked up nicely. Earlier on MS was getting killed more, but now they're bringing better games.

Massive Chalice was fun, Black Flag was worth it by far (if you hadn't played it when it released), and MGS Ground Zeroes will be fun for free (it was free for PSN in June I think).

IMO they're probably more even now, but early on GWG was kinda disappointing to me, whereas MS realized the problem and turned it around.

The Games with Gold are starting to get better. Come on back to Xbox . I think you can't go wrong with either console. I had both but decided to only keep the Xbox One.
