I just got in with the new UI. It's very snappy and smooth. Loving it so far and I'm glad I got in when everything seems to be working better after reading many complaints. This is the OS I couldn't wait to to have. Now everything is very fast. One of the biggest complaints I had about the older OS was how slow it was and at times laggy too.

Damn, hope I get in shortly. I bit the bullet and opted in last week. Hopefully they don't make me wait a long time to push it my way.

Edit - Just jumped online and instantly got prompted for an update. If I got pushed into the new UI last night, it could be the update to jump to the new UI.

Edit - This has got to be the new UI that I'm being updated to. This has been going for 15 minutes now and it's still only just halfway through applying the update.

Apparently there was a huge update yesterday that fixed a lot of the known issues.

Props to the Xbox team for getting these updates out. I am really loving the new UI. Still some issues but they are minor.

Battlefield Hardline should be on EA Access....I was able to start it installing last night, but it's a big enough download that takes me a while so hopefully check it out tonight.

Had a brief issue, when trying to get back online, it kept telling me there was a connection error with my router and no matter how many times I had it try to reconnect, it wouldn't, seems like the MAC and other network settings on my console got completely dicked up.

Thankfully a hard reset of the console took care of the issue and I'm back online now.

Thus far, the only issue I've run into personally. Everything else is running fast and smooth.

You can get game sounds through older controllers using the adapter and headset plugged in. I think newer controllers give it to you for free.

Or were you talking about something else and I'm not understanding? I have the adapter and use it when I game at night, have a older pair of Razer PC headphones/mic that are soooo comfy that make it perfect.

Yes I want my tv/game sounds to play through my headset instead of through my TV.

I have the old controller, no adapter and stock headset. Is there a option in settings that I missed, or do I need to purchase an adapter/new headset?

Think you need a new headset and an adapter or new controller. The stock headsets are just for chat audio as far as I know.

Yeah...the adapter lets you plug in any headset with the phone type plug....

I don't know if there's a way to make it work with existing chat mic.

Anyone having issue with headsets on line? I have both the full headset (2 ear piece) and the single with mic. When I use the full i hear the game and my opponent. But when they use the single earpiece headset they hear them selves talk. Its annoying to them so when i switch and we are both using same 1 earpiece they are fine.
