I know, just wish it did. Bestbuy doesnt sell many digital versions of games though, so was kinda shocked to even see them carry this.

I get the concern for Xbox, but Phil and the team are putting everything they can into it, and the system's selling way better than 360, so just chill and it'll be ok.

It doesn't matter that PS4 is selling more, there's still a ton of Ones out there now

Two future problems -

1) If consumers know that they can play Xbox exclusives on PC on the same day it gets released, it kind of kills the incentive to buy their next console.

2) And no one has mentioned this, why buy an Xbox One, the game and Xbox Live Gold (for online play) when you can play it on PC at a cheaper price and play online for free?

To me, this kind of deal will do more harm than good long term. But whatever.

At best this will probably only apply to a handful of games per year, most of us play way more than that. Still plenty of reason to justify buying a console. This was just gamers focused on a single release and doing the usual sky is falling hot-take flailing that social media enables.

Who says Microsoft even wants to sell another console, at least in traditional sense?

It's only a matter of time before they finally smarten up and see Xbox as a service, rather than a separate thing and in some weird competition with Windows.
