Re: Xbox One
Beyond frustrated with the whole Preview program right now.
I get it, it's preview to catch and work out bugs etc... What's going on for me though is a bit crazy. Everything works just fine. However, in the store, it doesnt recognize my Gold subscription, which is valid until Nov 2016. Hell, I even bought a new one month extension today through the preview thinking maybe it's not recognizing due to update to the new platform etc. Same problems. Spent the last hour and a half with support. They've reset my account, had me re-download my profile, had me do a factory reset, all to tell me, well, nothing you can do for the time being. And, won't refund me what I just paid to extend the subscription as a test. The guy says, "I get it, I'm a consumer too. We all like to get what we pay for, but there's not much we can do" Uh... ok. So, then I questioned them on opting out, instead they told me to use xbox.com and the purchases should be fine. Except.... they arent. Because when I DL'd The Crew through xbox.com, it only downloaded a trial, which I assume was due to this issue.
So, they basically left it as, just wait, and hopefully they fix it soon... So, naturally I got a bit frustrated with that response, and i started asking them about opting out, and the process.
Magically, now they're offering to cancel my subscription, send me a code for a free 5 months because that's a proven solution to fix this problem. Guess what... cancel, redeem codes to get my subscription back, and it solves the problem.
So, uh... Why didn't we do that from the start guys?!?!
I get it, there's a process to follow... I'm thankful for the resolution, but if you know the solution that will work, can we just jump to that please?
Now I'm considering option out of the preview, I dont want to have to go through this mess again. If all my games and apps are on an external, I shoudln't have a bunch of mass downloading to do if I opt out, correct?Comment

Re: Xbox One
Yeah, I mean, aside from that issue, I've had no other issues and been in the preview program pretty much since it started. So... I dont know what happened there.Miami Dolphins - Detroit Red Wings - Toronto Blue Jays - Michigan Wolverines - CANADAComment

Re: Xbox One
They're technically not titled as such, but Quantum Break gave a W10 key when you pre-ordered the digital Xbox version and saves synch up across both. Also, Killer Instinct is still cross buy and cross play with saves synched between both PC & W10.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Looking forward to Play Anywhere. Not about to switch to a PC gamer, but I will give it a try. If my HTPC can do FH3 at 1080p/60FPS instead of 30FPS on XB1, I would play on PC mostly.
The long term value of Play Anywhere is the big draw to me. In 2-3 years, your Surface or Windows 10 laptop will probably have enough GFX to run all these XB1 games. And I still think we will see the X360 games come to Windows 10 before that.Comment
