Except it's not "Crazy faster than any other drive" when it's paired with an XBox One.

You'll see minimal gains from it compared to other drives. The big jump is going from the internal to a good external. Tests have been run. Look around for them if you want.

This drive will be about 420mb of speed connected to USB 3.0 which is how it is done. If you buy an external drive for the xbox one it will not do 420mb of speed as this one promises to do. I am not advocating to buy it as it is very pricey but I have a Samsung SSD 520 Pro SSD and it loads games much faster then any other cheap external drive that I have tried even if it is bottlenecked without internal SATA3

USB 3.0 with an SSD will load games faster then putting an SSD internally on a PS4 due to SATA2

Not to mention that Hybrid Drives have a limited amount of flash space that loads based on the game you play the most. A game that you do not play a lot and fire it up will load slower over one you play more. Seagate has a 1tb SSHD that has jus like 8gb of flash there new one has 32gb

THe SSD will have all 512 or whatever is discounted of flash memory

If you want to bottleneck yourself with memory size for an average of ~5 seconds, feel free. It's your money. Don't tell lies saying it's crazy faster than something like a hybrid though. Better? Yes. By far? Not when you could have much more space at speeds slightly less.

It's been super cheap, I want to say as little as $7-$12. Presumably will be again once the digital sales hit this fall.

Yeah, i could see doing that...i just tend to buy newer stuff now. I'm being a little better about beating a game before getting something new. Still have a little backlog but actually almost done with Deus Ex, which is really fun!

I thought it was a Games with Gold at one point? Maybe not and I just bought it when it was really cheap but I thought it was free one month.

Edit: just looked it up, was never free but really cheap with all DLC one month. Probably when I grabbed it.

[PSA] New login method bypassing two step verification, CHANGE YOUR SETTINGS ASAP

OK, my xbox account was recovered in another console yesterday without my consent and I know how they did it, with an old Skype ID and password combination different from my Microsoft Account. Two more friends experienced this during this week, so something is going on. What's weird is that I don't see the login on the Recent Activity website, but I'm 100% sure my account was compromised since my Xbox One randomly asked for my credentials and had a couple of different games and apps under the recently played on home.

I keep my account locked down tight so thankfully there wasn't anything tied to it via Skype. Just my email and my phone number.
