Re: Xbox One
I bought, played and completed all three games you mention. Remnant is a great souls type game but with guns and shooting. Gunplay and shooting mechanics are very good and the boss fights are great. I'm not a digital gamer but Remnant is only available digitally and I still bought it for $40 day one. Great 8.0/10 in my opinion.
Rage 2 was a lot of fun and enjoyable. Think I gave that an 8 or 8.5. The shooting is pure Id Software and excellent. Story and characters were good but way too short. And the car combat was disappointing. Still, on Game Pass, easily worth a play-through.
As for The Witcher III, it's STILL my game of the generation with only Cyberpunk 2077 and TLOUP2 being the games that could surpass it. Enough said.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Ended up barely trying Remnant. It's a bit hard (like Souls games) but doesn't piss me off yet, so I'm gonna try it a bit until The Witcher 3 comes out and that'll monopolize my time (unless I do a Dishonored 2 New Game Plus where I murder everyone)I bought, played and completed all three games you mention. Re: Xbox One
Remnant is definitely a challenge but I'll give you a tip - choose the Hunter build with the handgun and rifle. Trust me, if you take your time, you should be good.Comment

Re: Xbox One
I just got the invite a few days ago. Works well, and yes very similar to ps4 to vita. Never had any slowdown or artifacts or anything. Very impressed.
However, it does have the slight input lag. Almost feels like you're playing on a tv not in game mode. Which means (though reviews are already saying it) stadia has no shot. I'll use xCloud on occasion when away from home or whatever especially since I have a huge library already. But would never want to use that as my only option on a service I start with no games.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Stadia has a mountain of other problems of its own, but xCloud might be the biggest problem.
Since posting that I've played Madden from the cloud and a couple games of Baseball (from my console) with virtually no impact to the game experience - on wifi from a friend's house. This is pretty great.
I don't see how Stadia competes when this is part of Game Pass.

Re: Xbox One
Even as a PlayStation guy and without even trying XCloud, when you have Sony going with their main competitor and rival in Microsoft to use their streaming technology for PlayStation 5 and beyond, that should honestly tell everyone everything they need to know in regards to who will have the best gaming streaming technology. It's simply Microsoft.Comment

Re: Xbox One
I don’t have xbox one.
I don’t play or know anything about mine craft.
My son loves mindcraft, loves to build/create things not really the fighting or story.
He has mine craft on the iPad.
Xbox one in Canada is having a Black Friday deal for $179 (with mine craft.
Is the Xbox one minecraft the same as the iPad one ?
He says he wants to play with “friends” on Xbox but yet has no friends with Xbox.....lol.....he’s seven but watches mine craft
Videos....
Is this a waste of cash ? Should I get him this ?
Or is minecraft on iPad vs Xbox the same crap just different platform ?Comment
