Re: Xbox One
To a max of 36 months I read. I have game pass through 8/2020 and gold through 8/2021...total of about 40 months but for a dollar it will give me both and add PC game pass until 6/2022. Though it is unclear if it is a single dollar upgrade or a dollar per month. Either way quite a deal especially since I got all that gold and game pass for free from ms rewards.
Edit: just did it. Went from the dates I had above to game pass ultimate for a dollar. Next charge isnt until 6/10/2022. So added 3 years of PC game pass, 1 year 10 months of game pass, and 10 months of gold. All for a single dollar.Last edited by joet6683; 06-10-2019, 12:35 AM.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Okay, can someone please explain this to me. I have Xbox Game Pass for three months until mid-August but don't have Gold (don't play online) but if I can get Ultimate for $1 and can somehow get for the rest of the year so I can play Gears 5 a few days earlier, that would be awesome. Thanks.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Total number of months you have combined of gold and game pass combined to a max of 36 months can be converted to ultimate for a dollar. So youd want to get 4 months of gold or game pass then convert it for a dollar.
Since game pass would be 40 for 4 single months, you could get a year of gold for 60 (or usually around 40 if you shop around) to be the most cost efficient.
Then you'd have 12 months of gold and 2-3 months of game pass. Pay a dollar and that would convert to ultimate through August of next year.Comment

Re: Xbox One
So what's the trick here? Make sure you have Live Gold as long as possible before converting to Ultimate?
I let my Live sub lapse a couple months ago, then grabbed it for $1 to get TGC 2019, so I'm only on a 1 month sub at the moment.
Anyway, I'd love to take advantage of this deal for Gamepass on my PC. Just want make sure I do it right and am just a bit confused lol.
Appreciate any help.

Correct. Buy 3 years of live in your case, redeem the codes for those years, then follow the link I posted. I’d do it ASAP. I’m surprised this is still going on right now.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Ok if everything goes well I should have Ultimate Game Pass through 3/3/2021, did it on PC and waiting for it to go through, (loading)wondering if I should stop it and sign up through the Xbox.-= Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.=- Edward MurphyComment

Re: Xbox One
I did it through services and subscriptions in my account on the Microsoft website. There was a link under my Gold and Game Pass subscriptions to upgrade. It went through immediately for me last night. If you're in the same spot maybe now that word is out that you can upgrade at such a little cost they are getting pounded with so many people upgrading at once.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Well there is one disappointment I came across. (though I sort of knew it would be like this...I was just being hopeful...)
Games that are listed as play anywhere games sync saves just fine between PC and Xbox as they always have.
Games that are on both services but not specifically play anywhere titles (I tried Void Bastards)...my Xbox save didn't sync in with PC. I was hopeful since you are playing with your same Microsoft account...but not the case.Comment
