Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
I just got ARMA 3 finally (and a few other titles as I'm prepping for my new build after the first of the year..)
Surprisingly my gaming laptop runs it pretty well so at least I can get back into it as time allows.
Spent the last couple days adding mods I wanted for everything and sorting them out for a quick transfer to new PC come Feb/March.
Looking to possibly add Men of War Assault Squad 2. Reviews on STEAM seem pretty good and after watching some YT vids I am intrigued a bit.
Looks like COH but without the resource finding etc.. for supplies etc..
Anyone play it?Last edited by Skyboxer; 11-29-2015, 10:37 PM.Joshua:

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
Snagged a few Castlevania games I missed in the past during the fall sale, but that was it. Was hoping to see a better deal on Divinity and DayZ, but no luck. Will wait for the Winter sale for those. My backlog is too full anyway at this point. Just about to my year anniversary getting back into PC gaming and it has been a blast.

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
Hopefully I'm only 2 months away from getting my new PC built. Getting away from consoles for the most part and concentrating on PC.
Just bought and XB Elite that I'll be selling shortly. Bad impulse buy.Joshua:

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
I picked up Dying Light during the beginning of the sale. It's quite an enjoyable game and way better than the Dead Island's.Comment

Mind if I ask why?
Cousin put one on hold for me thinking I might want it but as I don't game that much anymore (maybe an hour or two a week) and no online either, I'm thinking I might pass.Comment

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
Too many systems really. By Feb / March or close to it I will be building new PC and will mainly game on it. 70%.. then consoles the rest.
The X1 is fine system (I still prefer the PS4) but fear it will sit mostly.
With that said I'm leaning towards keeping it at the moment for the few digitals I have and Tomb Raider. Wait and see what other exclusives come.Joshua:

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
Anyone ever have their PC just randomly stop detecting half their RAM? I don't even know when it happened, but yesterday while checking XCOM system requirements I noticed Windows was only counting half my 8 GB RAM as usable. First thing I did was check the BIOS and it was only saying 4 GB as well. Uh oh.
So I went through trying to figure out if I had two bad RAM slots or two bad sticks out of four of each. After having a few times where the computer failed to boot with some combinations, they all just started working again no matter which slot or stick (just as I was about to pronounce two of the RAM sticks dead, mind you). So I put all of them back in and suddenly it was reading everything again in the BIOS. As was Windows once I got the back closed everything plugged back in.
One of the stranger PC episodes I think I've ever had.Comment
