Star Wars sell on Steam, but the better news is that Disney actually patched some of the older games. Star Wars Rebellion now works perfectly in windows 10 .

I'm guessing you play at 4K right?

The reason I ask, my system still maxes out everything and there is no need for a $600 graphics card let alone $300 right now.. But I only play at 1080p.

I'd be interested in a 4K monitor but if it takes that much more power, I'll have to wait lol.

Yeah, kinda in the same boat. I want one, but reality is with the Vive and gaming on a 2560x1080 monitor everything is pretty much maxxed as it is with a 980Ti (as it should be currently).

That will change over time, but the need to upgrade is definetly a huge want rather than a necessity lol.

At some point I'll bump up from this 7870 in my PC. Not sure I want to make the jump all the way to the high end though.

With the 1070 supposedly more powerful than a Titan X, the high end sure did get a lot more attainable.

Good luck AMD. Or perhaps RIP.

I think the 1070 is only more powerful than the Titan X in regards to VR rendering because of some extra things built to help VR rendering.

                            Yay marketing/PR.

EDIT: 1070 does look like it has a higher TFLOP number though.

This is going to be pretty amazing to tinker with:
In addition to the new hardware, Nvidia took the wraps off three new software features, starting with Ancel, a sophisticated tool for taking in-game screenshots. Unlike typical screenshot tools, Ancel hooks directly into the game engine—developer permitting—allowing users to free-roam around a specific scene, rotating the image, cropping it, and applying filters. Even better, because the tool ties directly into the frame buffer, users can take screenshots at resolutions higher than their monitor, up to a Photoshop-busting 61,000 pixels wide. There's even a mode to take 360-degree screenshots for viewing in VR headsets like the HTC Vive, or via the Nvidia Android app and a Google Cardboard. Games supporting Ancel at launch include The Division, The Witcher 3, and No Man's Sky.

I'd love to make the jump too, but right now my 970 doesn't really struggle with anything I throw at it. If for some reason my 970 can't run BF1 then I'll make a jump, but I'm assuming it will be fine at 1080p.
