Yeah. Getting the lowest end version of it, but if they gave me the opportunity I'd upgrade if I could.

Mostly looking forward to using it for streaming.

I have one pre ordered even though I’m still on the fence on how much I’d actually use it.

Upgrading my PC a bit. Not the GPU or CPU yet. But mostly everything else.

New case. LIAN LI O11D MINI-W White SPCC / Aluminum / Tempered Glass ATX Mini Tower

Also, new fans. New CPU will come over the next few months, but keeping the GPU for a while. It's nothing special, but not bad either RX 5600XT Sapphire.

Unless you buy extenders or 3rd party sleeved cables, cable management is a huge pain in the butt. The default cables that come with the power supply are too thick and too short. And I know the pain of trying to hide the cables that come with RGB fans. You did a damn good job.

Thanks. I really appreciate that. I ended up buying a new processor last night. I just couldn't take the idea of knowing I have a sub-par processor in such a nice build.

I went with the Ryzen 5 5600x. Mostly due to price and compatibility. Found it for a really good price on B&H for only $269. It was over $300 on Newegg and and Amazon.

I would have possibly went with a Ryzen 7, but pretty much all of them wouldn't pair with my GPU very well with how powerful they are. Didn't wanna create another bottleneck, just the opposite way.

I checked how the one I got pairs with my GPU and it said it's great for 1080p Ultra, and even 1440p high settings. I just have a 1080p monitor now, so it's perfect.

I'm really glad I missed out on a recent 5950x on Woot for less than $600.

I upgraded to a new Full Tower RGB Case, the Corsair 5000X, a new Asus Z690 Rog Strix motherboard (4 m.2 slots!) and got the new Intel Alder Lake i5-12600 and boy now my Geforce RTX 3070 is a bit of a bottleneck compared to when I had my i7-7700K!

Also got a new computer on the way for me to review as well. The specs are slightly lower than my current PC but it should be fun to test it out. I'm going to set it up so my wife and I can play PC games head to head and cooperatively.

Here's the PC that Best Buy Tech Insider is sending me to review:

                    MSI - Aegis ZS Gaming Desktop - AMD Ryzen - R9-5900X - 16GB Memory - RX 6700XT - 1TB SSD - Black : MSRP $2,199.99

Just got a 3080ti FE at MSRP. So now I'll be pushing to gather the rest of what I need to complete my build in hopefully the next month or two. Probably pairing it with a 5800x.

Heads up with that MSI cpu cooler, my brother and I just returned two 360mm versions due to a recall from MSI.

Hopefully you won't have any issues, mine started making stranges noises and stopped cooling.

Thanks for the heads up. No issues so far. Temps seem good, they sit around 44C when idle, and into the 60s under load. But I will start keeping an eye on them more.

Getting ready to build a new PC, myself, but I refuse to pay the current prices for GPUs. They are way too high. Gigabyte started putting their stock on sale but no one else has followed suit yet. I'm guessing I'll be waiting until the 40 series is announced or up to their release. It's annoying, but I've waited two years now, what's another couple months.

4000 series prices going to be high too. Just the way it has been since the 2000 series.
