I've had less issues with my PS4 when I power it down instead of leaving it on Standby.

Rest mode is broke after new patch I'm convinced. I can't get my ps4 to turn back on and have to yank it from the outlet more times than not.

And anyone having more trouble with remote play connection now? I've noticed that my connection has been choppy most days after the ps4 update.

My 2k got stuck on the start up screen.

I put The game in rest mode and it got stuck on putting in rest mode. Had to pull the power cord not happy about that at all

Just hold your finger over the power button, guys. It might take a few seconds longer, but I'd have to guess it's better than just killing the power totally.

Of course, the PS4 still bitches at you for not shutting down correctly, so might be the same result either way.

Holding power button still didn't work when I tried it. It would make noise but nothing. Held it for prolly half a minute so I just don't put in rest anymore until fixed. Which is frustrating to not be able to turn on via remote play

Sometimes you have to hold the power button for a long time. The first or secind time the rest bug happened I held the power button down for about a minute before it finally shut down.

Same here. I haven't had any problems since I've been taking the disc out before shut down.

I've noticed the opposite with remote play. Have you updated your Vita? Once I did the update on Tuesday I feel as though I get more range. I was even able to play in my living room (where my router is) while my daughter played on her ipad.

Yeah, I just started getting the Rest Mode issues. The power button doesn't work when this happens either, so I have to disconnect the power cord. Sony, fix this ****e!

As for Remote Play, I'm having the opposite experience. I had a flawless game of Need For Speed: Rivals last night from another room -- not a single moment where the connection glitched at all. If anything, the recent updates have made Remote Play more stable than before, at least for me.

The power button works, but it can take 30 seconds or longer to power down.

I updated day one and have no issues. Except with the YouTube thing at first, but I am fully connected now.

I am on #TEAMSHUTDOWN though.
