Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
MS exclusives just do not appeal to me at all. Titanfall looks fun, but with BF4 I really don't need many other multiplayer options. Plus, if I get real interested I can still pick it up for 360. For me, The Order and Dark Sorcerer trailers made bigger impressions with me than anything MS has shown. Not to mention we haven't even heard/seen anything out of the first party stable of publishers for Sony.
MS just has not connected with me at all with the Xbox One. To me their vision is blurry as **** and I really have little trust or faith in them to "have my back" as a gamer.
If Titanfall interests you, you can always pick it up there.
I'll agree that flip-flopping their stance in chasing the buck is a bad idea and looks bad in the face of the GP.
This is what I said before the news: One on hand, I commend MS for sticking to their guns. On the other hand, they are ****ing stupid.
This is what I say now: On one hand, good job MS for listening to the gamer (or at least their dollars). On the other hand, you are still ****ing stupid and show no commitment to your vision and I don't want that from a company.
I'm still undecided on when I'm going to get a PS4. It may be a couple at launch just to have one for when the CFWs/etc. come out or I may just hold off until there's a good JRPG game that comes out that I simply must play.
I'm hoping that with the x86 architecture that both systems are using, we see more PC ports done because it should be quite easy to do for an easy revenue bump to the publishers.
Here's a decent article comparing XBone vs PS4 vs PC.

The only thing I disagree with is this part:
Ultimately, with both the Xbox One and PS4 having such similar hardware, real-world performance differences will probably come down to how well the consoles make use of those eight CPU cores, GPU offloading, and differences in the memory subsystem. It’s also important to bear in mind that a huge speed-up is available when developing games for a fixed platform with known performance/latency characteristics. Realistically, we wouldn’t be surprised if games on the Xbox 720 and PS4, just like the current generation, look very similar. Likewise, games will probably look better on consoles for a few years, and then PCs will probably pull back ahead.badComment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
What is important for MS right now is not to be swept away by PS4 sales and get back their consumers. In my case, Im sold out to PS4 on release date.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
All the "features" that were seemingly taken away were just conjectures based on snippets of information. Its like MS gave us a whiteboard with a couple words on it and people filled in the major details.
My PC won't handle it. I built it about 5 years ago so I could use a new tower.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
For those trying to kick that 2 console habit this time around, just remember Don with his %#*+eating grin feeding you a load of BS. That should help.
Truth is if Sony screws the pooch and MS drops the Kinect mandate, then I may return to the dark side, but I really hope Sony has learnt their lesson.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I won't have a problem going to one system, but just want all the info.
There's still a lot Sony has to detail about PSN and everything. We really don't know anything different other than it costs money now. I've seen a leaked video about social, but no in depth facts.
Same with MS and Xbox One...
Just want to know all the exclusives, all the online differences, etc so I can make my decision later.
I'm leaning PS4 though since most people here are flipping, but I do like the Xbox Kinect entertainment features.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

FYI, I'd be kinda wary of preordering at very busy Gamestop locations going forward, they are currently accepting "unlimited" preorders - http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=599131Comment

Yeah, lack of time makes it easy (for me too, I don't touch PS3 now).

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Xbox has Dead Rising 3 and a few other exclusives that seem cool, whereas PS4 has Knack and some free driving game?
Just want to get more announcements...since I'm buying one system I at least want to consider exclusives. MS has made it a point to focus on exclusives now, I want to hear what Sony's doing.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment
