The only thing I can't stand about mine is it sounds like a vacuum cleaner, haha.--
Have you ever wanted to coach or play basketball at the next level, but something prevented you from achieving that dream? Fret no more. Ask me about SimWorld Hoops to see how you can create your virtual self, and follow your path from the prep-level to the pros.

Still have my 60gb from launch too. I did have the bluray drive fail a few years ago, but it was fixed and hasn't had any problems since. It's loud though, hopefully the PS4 will be quiet like the slims.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Some had no trouble making some WiiU games look better than PS3/360. There will basically be four types of multiplatform games:
Samesies. Just like this gen, there will be developers whose main concern is getting the same experience from both consoles. These will be the closest versions.
Lazies. Developers who are too lazy to try and take advantage of the extra power, and these games would probably be mediocre anyway so it doesn't matter much. These will likely be all over the place, but should have fewer issues on the faster platform.
Besties. Those who look to give each console the best game they can deliver. Faster platform will be markedly better.
Porties. These are solid developers that set a lead platform and do direct ports to everywhere else. Games will look mostly the same, but probably have some slight advantages in framerate, antialiasing, and possibly more advanced shading or lighting on the faster platform.
That's all mostly what we see now with the 360 and PS3, only the gap will be wider in the coming gen.
How about first party PS3 games? Seems like it should have been easier for those to take full advantage of the Cell. I just don't remember any groundbreaking games.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I had a 40GB PS3 from around launch that lasted until last year. It may have been something easy to fix, but I was wanting a new one anyways.
It's early and there's a lot of important information to come, but I'm an extremely strong PS4 lean right now. There's just too much of a negative vibe surrounding the Xbox One and their press conference and information left me feeling a lot of concern about the direction of their company.
Don't get me wrong, It's not a vendetta against Microsoft. I have a 360 I play now and I had an original xbox. Hell, I even have a Nokia Lumia 920 with Windows Mobile and I love it. I just don't like the initial information from Microsoft with that thing.
I've been a Sony guy since the PS1. It was my first console that belonged only to me and I still remember the enjoyment I got out of it. I think at the end of the day, Sony will deliver a better product that caters to gamers more. Now, if Microsoft stops being vague as hell about the kinect functionality and requirements, I may get a better vibe about it.
Until then, I'll continue to be a strong PS4 lean + I all ready have the VITA and I'm ready for any cross platforms and other cool functions that comes with that. It may be very important to me soon, especially knowing this time next year I'll be deployed/stationed somewhere for the Navy.
I need the product that's going to let me stay connected the best.Comment

Microsoft has put out more information and left more questions, while Sony has put out less information leaving less questions.
It's just a matter of time before we all know everything and how it works for Microsoft's strategy. Until then it's impossible to say how much to lean one way or another. For me, that is.Comment
