If I played my PS3 enough I would.

I currently don't have my 360 controller adaptor (friend borrowed it) or power cord. (Got lost somehow)

I got a original Fat $599 PS3 (the one that is a damn furnace while running, lol) and its Wi-Fi is incredibly bad. My 360 in the same spot gets great signal, no idea what's up. When I direct connect it, I can play online but can't download worth **** (maybe its my fat PS3) and today I found out my 360 may be pooping out on me. The fan stopped spinning I'm pretty sure but it did last pretty long.

The PS4 really catches my eye though and that's why I'm trying to find every little detail of it. I just read the controller is a little bigger and heavier so that's a plus. I just hope the sticks are "stiffer" and they allow the switching of R2/R1 and L2/L1. Hate firing/aiming with R1/L1.

You can switch the triggers in most FPS games, especially Call of Duty. Been doing it for a long time now.

Guys Pre Orders do not charge until item is shipped. It's just like everything u pre order online it's not going to be charged until ur item is ready to ship!!

After looking at the PS4, the IT part of me is wondering how they are dissipating the heat in what essentially is a Small Form Factor case.

Interesting; since I never purchased at release before, I doubled-up with a preorder at Best Buy, as well. Hopefully that pans out.



I've been concerned with this even before they showed the new console. I was hoping they would learn their lesson as my PS3 tends to run pretty hot, but I don't see a ton of ventilation on that thing. Please no bricking.

Looks like the back of the DeLorean from BTTF, but that is a lot of vent space.

I would like to point out, don't confuse the temperature of the plastic casing with the temperatures that matter, the chip temperatures. We really don't know how hot the PS3 ran.

Be careful pre-ordering at Best Buy.com they put a hold on your card and charge it.

I couldn't use mine because it expires before "release date" so I uses my wife's debit card. She never keeps money in her checking. I had to cancel. It said it wouldn't charge since canceled, but I hope not as I don't want her to get overdraft fees.

Question: Did Sony mention anything about improved servers? If I'm paying I don't want to wait 4-6 hours for updates and downloads like PS3.

I decided to go with the XboxONE guys pre-ordered on Amazon, it came down to the exclusive and M$ had the ones I liked more.

Same here. As soon as I can pre-order at a Best Buy store, I will. I'll keep my Amazon pre-order until the last second incase they is a shortage and I am on a second shipment or something
