Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Both look pretty ugly IMO, with the One's controller being the better looking of the two. But as long as they actually feel good and function good then what they look like is irrelevant.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. Very awesome.
Wouldn't it make more sense for these two to be reversed? A click of the Share button for a screenshot, a press-and-hold for video share? Just seems like if you are trying to capture something fleeting as a screenshot, it will be tougher to time a press-and-hold rather than a tap of the button.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Yes, a built in high quality mono speaker. I know some developers have discussed using it for dynamic sound as an addition to the "surround sound" experience.
For example, if you're playing a survival horror game, there could be some subtle, ambient noises coming from the controller to help raise the tension in the atmosphere. Or in an FPS game, you could hear the bullets whiz by you through the controller.
We'll just have to see how it works in the actual games, though.Comment

I am with you. I don't care how they look as long as they feel good.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
The only thing that concerns me with the PS4 controller is the L1, L2 buttons. Me coming from 360 and liking the feel of the 360 controller over the PS3 has me concerned with how far your left thumb is from the L1/2 buttons. On the 360 controller you are closer to those so it was not so far a reach, on the PS4 it is looking like it will be a long stretch.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
But... the feel and function is 100 times more important than how they look when sitting on the TV stand, and it sounds like the DS4 has taken some nice strides in that area. Maybe I can finally put my rant about convex triggers to rest.Ryan Spencer
