I thought PS4 showed NBA 2k14? It wasn't gameplay, but it was a Lebron trailer.

      PS4 did showed NBA2K14 tho.

Ok, but you have to admit, Xbox seemed a little more focused to sports gaming. Or maybe that's just what they decided to showcase, and I'm completely wrong.

Because they've partnered with EA for some stuff. What that really is beyond prominent placement in the reveal announcements remains to be seen. Wouldn't be surprising to see timed or exclusive dlc or something.

Those dates are highly unlikely IMO. I think those are just placeholders. I can't see the PS4 releasing in December and the Xbox one releasing on black friday.

I have a feeling we will know when the PS4 will come out at Gamescon around August 20th.

My guess will be first week on November for the PS4 and November 21st for the Xbox one

PS4 for a lot of reasons. My guess is if you are on Operation Sports you are a sports gamer/fan. With that being said, the choice should be easy. The PS4 most definitely. Why? THE SHOW.

MS paid more to showcase those games. Nothing more.

                        Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion

For me it's really become very easy.
MLB The Show and there was just a better variety of games that fit me. The XBOX really ended up seemingly like the FPS console while the PS3 was a bit more rounded out.
Heavy Rain, The Last of Us, 3D Dot Heroes etc.. etc...

                        And PS+ rocks.

I was an XBOX fanboy and can admit that it blinded me a bit towards what Sony was offering this past gen.
I'm over than now. I'll own both as soon as the X1 reduces it's price but if not the PS4 will suit me just fine... and will fit nicely with my 3DS and WiiU.

The main issue I hope has been improved upon is download speeds through PSN.

Just thinking about the potential for the show on the ps4 makes my knees weak.

Yeah the show is the main reason I'm switching over.

I could have written this myself, except I don't have a Wii-U or 3DS. Otherwise I feel exactly the same way.
