I've been watching ACIV footage and it has taken a slight lead for my gaming services over Watch Dog.

I refuse to buy both at launch because I already know myself and I'll never finish them if I do. One at a time.

Now the both are basically fighting for an opportunity to touch my PS4 first.

I have NEVER played AC games. I have always seen gameplay footage and knew I would dislike them immensely. But IV seems to have covered what I disliked most by adding so much more. And the pirates theme really has me hooked.

I guess we will see what news comes out and what I feel like doing more when I have my PS4. Do I want to sink ships or sink computer networks?

Just pre ordered Watch Dogs and FIFA 14 at Best Buy. They are sold out of Assassins Creed online so I guess Ill pre order that later.

Is BestBuy the only place with the AC bundle?

My only concern about ps4 is psn. It's not as stable online as xbox live.owning black ops and 2k on both systems much more lag on psn side of things

See, I'm not worried about that anymore. Sony knows that's an issue. For them to ignore that would make absolutely zero sense. It's fair to be wary because of what we've dealt with this gen, but I'm not worried one bit.

I concur. Sony is really focusing on gamer's needs this gen. Microsoft...not so much.

I see some saying this, but I rarely notice lag while playing on my PS3. Now download speeds are a lot slower, but nothing while actually playing.

^^^It's more so when in on wifi. It doesn't bother me til I'm switching back and forth consoles.

True especially with new tech compared to the release of ps3 it should be much better

Are you sure it wasn't just a perceived lag on the PSN side? Because the majority of games last generation used peer to peer, so playing black ops 2 on xbox live or psn wouldn't really have anything to do with its online performance. Perhaps the people that you played on psn just had slower internet.

Using a peer to peer connection on an xbox is not going to somehow be better than a peer to peer connection anywhere else. You may as well say that BitTorrent and Limewire speed up if you're connected to Xbox Live.

Avoid using Wi-Fi to play PS3 online like the plague.

I too played the same games on both systems, and to me the lag was similar. The difference to me was that matchmaking seemed faster on Live, way faster to find opponents.

Honestly, as the days/weeks go by (I have both consoles pre-ordered just in case) the only clear answer is to just wait and let the dust settle for the first few months and make a choice after that. This next gen more than any other might be best to just wait, skip day one purchase and let both systems be out for a bit before making a choice.

My 360 RRD in the first month and my ps3 collected dust for the first year. If I could go back in time, I should've just waited. Anyone else feel the same?

I can say with fair certainty that the launch titles for the PS4 and One will be considerably better than the launch titles for PS3 and 360.

As far as hardware issues go, well, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
