What do you guys like about COD still? the series has been downhill for a while

I like to do 720 quick scopes while my sensitivity is on the highest possible setting.

Nah, COD is great at what it does. Fun shooter at 60FPS.

Im not trying to be a D but they might have like 1-20 consoles at most places..
i know some gamestop that will have maybe 3

The GS in my area (4) said they won't have more then 5/10 extras.

Man, the last 8 months really flew by... It feels like yesterday that I was sitting in the back of my calc class with my textbook propped up in front of me while I watched the reveal on game trailer's crappy stream... And now we're 10 days from launch

I still remember how excited I was when my mom brought home the GT3 PS2 bundle... all those feels will return when I see the Amazon truck roll up to my driveway on 11/15

I don't understand the draw but to me it seems to parallel Madden. Tournament players love it because it makes upgrades year over year focused solely on them while people looking for a semi realistic experience rant about how it's the same thing year in and year out. The frame rate issue this year across all systems could be a major problem for IW for that reason.

I personally can't play COD online if im not playing gamebattles which is kind of done now after MLG blew people from the site IMO after COD4/WAW they kept putting out these games that are for casuals and just scrubs to be honest that don't know what they're doing.

Whenever id go in a public match i just cringed at how bad my teams would be

Yeah that's what the Mgr and GS was saying. If you wait until the morning or just even show up later during the midnight release you're probably walking away emoy handed.

Actually I think it's very possible and that to me is the only way of getting a PS4 or XB1 without preordering. Most stores will have more consoles than they have preorders so a lot of people should be able to get a non preorder one.

I highly doubt it. Every store I've been to said they aren't getting more than their allotted amount.

Trapper - I'm not quoting that entire post. You seem to have a lot of built up frustration from H4 and had to vent.

I don't blame you and I can't argue with anything you said. As sad as it is Halo is a dying franchise and it's up to 343 to bring it back. To me the series started trending downward with Reach. I still enjoyed it, just as I did with H4(although that game got old much faster), the lack of good maps and COD like features/ranks made it very bland.

Still, it's Halo and I can't jump ship yet. I'm willing to give 343 another shot. I mainly only play sports games and your typical BF, COD, Forza, GTA etc. games sprinkled in. Plus most of my friends are getting the XB1 so there's that weighing on my mind too.
