Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
For PlayStation Now, here are my terms:- Pay a one-time $100 fee ($150 is my limit)
- Games cost exactly as much as MSRP
- If you already own a game, enter your game's serial number as a one-time use for a discount, half off MSRP
- Ability to import PS3 saves
I feel like things like yearly/monthly subscriptions are ridiculous, especially if you're going to have to pay to rent/own the game as well.
It's a bit ridiculous on its own that these consoles aren't BC for no extra charge, but I'm willing to do one-time charges if absolutely necessary.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I'd be surprised if any one of those demands are met :-/
They are very heavily invested in this project, it's going to be built for maximum ROI.
I would like to see a complimentary service rather than a clearly separate non-integrated offering. Things like instant game demos for items in the store that you could then buy and download as you can now would be great for this platform, in theory. This should be a benefit of PS Plus, OR PS now.
Depending on how the service develops maybe we could see one free rental per month included in the PS Plus membership or a tiered PS Plus offering that includes some/all aspects of PS Now in it.
If you pay for a couple years of PS Now up front they should throw on a Vita TV

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I've been trying to figure this out for awhile but where do you find the instant game collection? I didn't get plus until PS4 so I've been trying to hunt down the free PS Vita and PS4 titles but their doesn't seem to be a place for them on the store.Last edited by KMRblue1027; 01-07-2014, 04:42 PM.PSN: KMRBlue1027

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Should be under the Playstion Plus section, or if you're looking for one game in particular here's the website and you can just search in the score for that title.
Join PlayStation Plus on an Essential, Extra or Premium membership plan and get hundreds of PS4 and PS5 games, online multiplayer, classics catalog, exclusive discounts and more.
On the PS4 store you can only see PS4 content.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Here's the info on Playstation Now
"The idea behind PlayStation Now is simple: you will ultimately no longer need to keep a PSone, PlayStation 2, or PlayStation 3 around to experience games from those consoles. PlayStation Now will allow streaming of classics from those systems to not only PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, but to televisions, tablets, and smartphones. 2014 model Sony Bravia televisions will support PlayStation Now when it launches, but PlayStation Now will ultimately scale to non-Sony devices as well."

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Whatever happened to that feature announced pre-launch where they said if you got stuck in a game you could cede control to a friend and have them help you through a difficult are? I'm not talking about sharing your screen obviously but actually allowing the friend to take control of the character in the game via the net.
As an older and impatient gamer who often abandons games when I get "stuck" this was high on my list of features, however I've not seen anyone talk about this...
Is there a way to do it now or is this something that they said they'd add later or is that feature just a forgotten memory??Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20
