I love Zen Pinball, have a ton of fun with their tables, but I also prefer Pinball Arcade's real tables. Has a dungy arcade room feel when playing the tables as well. Just wish they had a better scoreboard system wtih friends, something that Zen excels in.

They plan to eventually patch more options regarding the scoreboard.

Got my Sony Pulse Elites in last night. Immediately plugged them in and charged them while I studied for couple hours. When done I went start a round of battlefield 4 with 7:1 surround sound.

My first reaction to how amazing the sound was

I'm highly surprised how well the surround sound works in a headset, I could tell not only the direction of sound but also the height from which it came.

I then turned off all the lights around 11pm, closed the man cave door, threw on the elites, and started outlast for the first time.

LOL last day of the season is this Saturday soooooooo take em, I will be back on the water the following weekend

In seriousness the Pulses have exceeded my expectations. I'm no rookie to headsets, Sennheiser HD 280 Pros which I use for music, Turtle beach X12s for my PC, and PDP Afterglows which was for PS3. Granted I have never used a surround sound pair or a high end pair like the Astro A50s, I'm still very surprised how amazing the Elites sound in comparison to the X12s and Afterglows. The one thing I'm not super keen on is the vibration effect. While cool in theory it seems to cause more distraction than helping with immersion.

Agree on the vibration effect. Annoys more than it works to help immersion.

The elites do have a good sound, but for me they are just really uncomfortable. Could just be my giant melon, but I've not had any comfort problem with the X12s or my Byerdynamic DT 990 Premiums. But the elites I have a tough time wearing more than an hour or so. The Byerdynamics I can wear all day, but they don't have the adjustable programming that the elites have and to get the best sound they really should be amplified so I like to use the Fiio E09k amplifier with mineso they are more of a hassle.

The custom EQ "modes" of the elites are awesome. I originally bought mine for GTA V so my daughter wouldn't hear the game when I played and the custom GTA V mode was great. Infamous is supposed to have one coming out when the game releases.

So Elite is better when you use via usb from PS4 than connect it via DS4?

You won't get virtual surround sound from the controller. While neat and convenient, the quality of the sound that comes out of the controller isn't very good. It's not a knock on it or anything. It should be expected, honestly.

On that note, I have yet to use them to chat with yet. I want to make sure I get the best quality sound.

I have usb plugged in ps4
output set to PCM
switch from just "chat" to "all audio"

Now with this setting I'm sure the sound is how its supposed to be. BUT if I want to use the mic, I need to plug the cable supplied into the controller correct? If so, this does not readjust the audio to take the controller audio does it? Will I need to make any adjustments in the settings?

You should not have to plug it in at all now, even for voice. There is a mix level slider on the headset to adjust the mix of voice to game music that will allow you to balance the two.

Also, can you talk through the headset while you're broadcasting gameplay on twitch?

You should not have to plug it in at all now, even for voice. There is a mix level slider on the headset to adjust the mix of voice to game music that will allow you to balance the two.

Correct, I have the original pulse headset and there is no need to plug anything in. I use the all audio late at night so I do not wake anyone up but I am blasting away in the headset. There should be 2 different controls one for setting chat volume and game volume.
