Sony gonna bring the white GTA V bundle to the U.S. to combat the XB1 bundles/price drop???

Would think it'd be a for sure at this point....right?

My disc always stays in the PS4, only time a disc comes out is when I am putting a different one in there. My PS4 hasn't done the lock up at all.

Same. I only take the disc out to change game or to prepare the game I want to use later via Remote Play.

Some have, I have not. It let me sign in on the upload dialogue, but the upload failed. The app hasn't let me log in at all. Some say that going to your Google account and revoking PS4 access will let them log in, but that doesn't help me since PS4 doesn't show up. I'm stuck not logging in, allegedly Sony is looking into why this happens.

It's been starting fine out of Rest without a disc in for me, but I would have to manually power down before with a disc in. Weird stuff. Hopefully Sony can shed some light on the subject.

On the flipside I'm noticing improved menu speeds since the update.

Yeah, menu speeds are quite a bit better, it just boggles my mind that they don't push the message when they push the notification though, and messages take forever to load. When playing something like Destiny I'm going to have to have my tablet next to me because I can't sit for 5 minutes at the messages screen waiting for them to load.

I would be very surprised to see the PS4 GTA V bundle in the U.S. because after watching an IGN podcast with Phil Spencer, he said that bundles, pricing, packages, promotions, etc. are setup months in advance in order to get the SKU's all situated and such for every retailer. While it's only an assumption, im going to assume that this would also have to do with Sony as well. Sony has been quiet thus far for this Holiday season.

PlayStation Experience will hopefully liven things up for 2015 as im hoping to see a few exclusives announced but at the same time, since E3 2013, I have been disappointed with Sony's showings at GamesCom 2013, E3 2014 and GamesCom 2014. Their Tokyo Game Show this past September was their best show since E3 2013. However, im simply taking a wait and see approach as I don't want to get myself hyped and then be disappointed.

I may have had the same issue. Mine wouldn't even let me select multiple screenshots.

Try going to Notifications > Uploads and deleting some of your Upload notifications.
