I hate that you have to install games this gen unlike last gen with ps3 because it takes up way more space. Yes ps3 I spent 500 on and ps4 400 so 100 less but I never had to get a new hard drive last gen and I know I am going to have to this gen so really its like I didn't spend 100 less lol. I don't get rid of games other then maybe sports games and like to go back from time to time and play games I haven't played for a while. So I never want to uninstall and then have to reinstall games later. I for the most part don't get DLC or down load much. I do have DLC for batman and for drive club but I love batman and Drive Club gave you so much for its season pass. Right now I have 9 games and I am already down to like 90 GB left on my hard drive.
When it comes to moving files over to a new hard drive I am not sure how to go about things like demos but I now you can always re download demos that you don't have on the hard drive any more. When it comes to saved game files though I have a memory stick that I have ps3 and ps4 games saved on though because my first ps3 died on me after about 2.5 years and I lost ever thing and I didn't want to have that happen again if my systems breaks again. So I have my games saved files for both ps3 and ps4 on the memory stick. I am not sure if there is a way to transfer the games them self's on to a new hard drive so you don't have to re install ever thing or not. I may have to get a new hard drive next year not sure how long my hard drive will last before its full yet. But so far the only games I know of that I want next year are rachet and clank and I may get Horizon when it comes out. With only having 9 games and not having a lot of DLC out side of 2 games and yet already being down to 90 GB I think even a 1 TB may not be enough so yeah I would say get a 2TB hard drive.
