Ahhh ok. I never knew you could directly stream with a capture device. I always thought they were just for recording and then uploading.

If the description for you stream is too long then it won't broadcast. In case you haven't tried that.

So I decided to swap my sticks out for Xbox One sticks in one of my controllers. The process went very smooth, but I somehow disconnected the light. Now I have pretty amazing battery life and literally everything else works perfectly fine. No clue what I did, but I'm happy.

The light is neat the first time you fire up the system, but it is completely useless after that.

Combine that with the giant always-on touchpad, and you have much worse battery life than we should be getting.

That seems like something that either: 1) doesn't happen that much, or; 2) could be discovered within seconds any other way.

Just doesn't seem like something that's not a compromising trade-off for loss of battery life, especially when there isn't an option to turn it off completely.

One minor side effect I've noticed is the keyboard sometimes gets stuck on the motion keyboard and R3 won't work to turn it off. But just turning the controller on and off fixes it and I don't type that much.

I have xfinity and when I did a speed test on my laptop I get 90 Mbps d/l and 12.00 u/l. I've also tried changing the DNS to google but that didn't help.
I have 50/5 and same for me, says I'm too slow to shareplay @ 17/2. I've restarted everything, changed ports, the whole 9 yards and best is always 17/2 which they say is too slow.. It's got to be on the Sony side.

I disagree, the light is quite useful in many games actually. And I get about 7 to 8 hours of battery life from mine so I don't think it's terrible. I just keep one on the charger and if I do play until I exhaust mine just swap it out. Don't know why this is so difficult for people to do...

Because we shouldn't have to buy two controllers in order to get through a day of gaming.

The DS3 is pretty easy to distinguish among players.

I have 2 DS4 controllers but only use 1 of them. I guess I don't game as much in a single session (1 -2 hrs here and there per session) with 2 kids around, so I never run out of charge. When I am done gaming, I put the DS4 on the charging cradle to charge up again for the next session.

For me, the battery life of the DS4 was never really an issue for me.

Same here. I've yet had an issue where it was a problem.
Always have 1 charging but like you I get plenty of hours on 1 charge... and when it does finally get low, 15 seconds later the other controller is swapped in.

I don't game for hours and hours these days though. A 2-3 hours a sitting tops for the most part.
Even if I play some throughout the day I've yet had a problem.

I have two controllers and they go back onto the charger any time I turn the PS4 off. I'm not exactly a light user, I have almost 1100 hours playing Destiny, and that's not even counting time in game but not in an activity. I always use the white one first, no idea why I guess because it is in front. Anyway, the black controller is never used. I picked it up because we were playing a 2 player game of Madden and I was shocked at how different the geltabs felt, the white are smooth and the black controller's geltabs were sharp.

I can literally go several weeks without need to charge my DS3. The DS4, on the other hand, needs to be charged within 3-5 days and that's even with just using NetFlix.
