Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I think this may be a glitch. Mine was defaulting to a Houston zip which doesn't have the same packag offered here in Dallas. However, when I switched to my wife's profile, it recognized the correct location and zip. I think you may need to call them because I could not, for the life of me, get it to allow me to change it under my profile.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I fortunately got that one pretty soon after getting the game. The one that got me was the one where you have to rub a homerun. I always mistimed it. Eventually I set my cpu to auto and was able to cheese it. Still took a while, though.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Yes, I had CBS and Telemundo added last week here in Boston. We will see if price stays the same. Good for competitiveness that Hulu and YouTube are going to be coming out with their own streaming services. I just hope that it doesn't turn in to a situation like Netflix and Amazon where some things are only available on one service and not others. Only time will tell.New England Patriots

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Yup! It's awesome man. Every bit as good as DirecTV for us for about $100 less/month. Love it. As I mentioned earlier, throw in our subscriptions to Hulu, Netflix, Starz, HBO Now, etc., and we are more than set.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Yep totally agree! I'm no longer paying DirecTv $100 +... With Vue and now Netflix we're set!Milwaukee Brewers | Green Bay Packers | North Carolina Tar Heels | Wisconsin BadgersComment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
So let's add all this up (because I'd love to cord-cut add well).
Sony Vue + Netflix + my ISP + HBO + Hulu
All that in combination is really not going to save me much (I think) vs what I have now.
I have TWC (that's my internet & TV combined that also has HBO & Starz included) + Netflix
I may be looking at it wrong and if I am someone feel free to enlighten me.
It sounds intriguing though, but not necessarily cost effective.Comment

Yea I'm thinking this to myself as well. You're paying $30 or so for Vue. Then on average $10 a piece for each of those streaming services. Then your internet which is probably around $20. So you're looking at $80 (3 streaming services) right there. So you're saving a little but not much ($20).Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Does Hulu even really provide that much ? I always hated it because of the lengthy ads that came with it, but I did use it for a bit for Parks and Recreation and Community when their new episodes were airing.
I'm eyeballing Vue right now. I'm all ready in talks with my lady about it when I move home. I tell her she pays too much for Satellite and Internet, but she's not very tech savy and can't make the switch without me.
Vue + Netflix + Amazon Prime should more than cover us.
Charter offers some solid bundle deals for TV and Internet so we'll just have to weigh options when the time comes.Last edited by AUChase; 05-09-2016, 11:42 AM.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Yea it ultimately comes down to what you pay for cable. I was just using rough numbers and math that was easy. I'm done with school didn't want to do that much work with real prices of each one. And looking at all the different cable packs available.Comment

They have a no ad option well worth it. Only $12.Last edited by TheBleedingRed21; 05-09-2016, 01:25 PM.Comment
