Just my opinion, but it's going to be a tough sale for some when you can't truly comprehend what a VR console can do without a personal demo. It's not like watching gameplay footage on YT and coming to a decision.

I agree, some of us are understandably going to want to be hands on.. maybe in a place not named GameStop or Best Buy.

I'm surprisingly and cautiously optimistic about the whole VR ordeal. I hope it's at least fun and I can someday justify the purchase. It might bring something new to party games. Imagine VR Monopoly

I think hardcore gamers will buy it right away but I'm not sure casuals will. At least not at that price.

I have not really paid attention to the VR and honestly have no idea what it does in terms of gameplay. Will have to find someplace which is has a demo to get a clue before deciding on what I will do in terms of buying. It will have to be good if I buy it as I can already imagine my wife's expression with me sitting around with the thing on my head.

Ha, my wife already makes fun of me when I have my headset on talking to people.

I don't foresee it doing any better than 3D did/has.

Already passed 3D imo, probably exponentially so.

VR, for tech and outside applications, will be great.

VR for gaming is going to be tepid and go the way of the Kinect.

Can we just get this thread back to the playstation and not about another lame console war run on?

I'm going to consider shutting down this entire thing.

I don't know about you, but with my TV being 3D-ready, I miss games supporting 3D as well. I have perception issues with Rocket League, and keep telling myself how cool it would be if this game supported 3D. I also played KillZone 3 with the Move controller and in 3D just "because." It was really fun.

The only PS4 game that I know of that has 3D support is Zen Pinball 2, because it was already made for PS3 at the time and had that.

Definitely fun. Looked a bit lower res or something, I can't remember... but if they allowed us to do it in the remastered version, hopefully it would maintain both the resolution and the framerate. Would be awesome for sure.

For PSVR you have to have the camera and move controllers. I'm guessing the move controllers from the PS3 are what they are talking about and the new PS4 camera?

Thinking about trying the VR this weekend while I'm in Baltimore. It will have a big impact on if I will consider purchasing or not in the future.
