So I am really looking forward to The last guardian. When do you guys think we will see some more stuff for it? We got the trailer at E3 and the game comes out towards the end of October and really there is still not a lot known about it. I would think we would find out a little more before it comes out. I don't think they would show something at E3 and then not show any thing for 4-4.5 months between E3 and the time the game comes out. The game just looks different and I think the relationship between the boy and animal is going to be great. I never played the other 2 games that this company made and had never heard of them in till just like a year ago. Yesterday night my friend showed me the 2 games. I thought they both looked interesting but I thought ICO looked better and I think ICO is more of the kind of thing we will see from this game.

Yeah I remember the rumors about sucker punch but I am glad it is Insomniac because they do a great job with upgrades, love the art style we saw in the trailer and ratchet and clank on ps4 looks amazing and while I do have the newest Infamous game I like ratchet and clank much more. When it comes to the size of there team I am not sure how big most popular video game studios are compared to them. While I am not asking for much but I want to have something else this year for the game no matter if it is written previews about some of the games features or some new screen shoots, or trailer, or something. To have to want for E3 next year for some news would be hard.

I do think it is not going to be out in till at least late next year because if it was only like a year or less I think we would have gotten a hands on demo or something at E3 and instead we just got a trailer and really know nothing about the game over all. How ever I don't think it will be latter then 2018 because if it was still like 2 and a half years or so I don't think we would have even gotten any thing at E3 this year. I didn't hear about the 2014 thing but the newest ratchet and clank game just came out this year. So I don't know if they would have been working on the game for like 1.5-2 before ratchet and clank had even came out. I mean maybe before ratchet and clank was 100% done and ready they had part of the team start working on this game or maybe in 2014 they start brain storming ideas for spiderman but didn't really start putting in the engine and game code and what not in till later.

I would think that two years would be the minimum amount of time that Insomniac needs for Spider Man. Ratchet and Clank was released in April. The E3 Spider Man trailer was cinematic and probably put together after Ratchet and Clank was released. Plus, the rumors about there being a Spider Man game being in development only started before E3 so im guessing that Insomniac is probably getting ready to go into full development if they haven't already. Spring 2018 is my guess for Spider Man. It won't be rushed, that's for sure and Insomniac will take their time with it. They were also working on the VR game Edge of Nowhere and the PSN/XBLA game Song of the Deep.

Insomniac usually works on one game at a time which they can now do with Spider Man. For this year, I would say that PSX in December would be the soonest. Too much other stuff going on with Sony and they don't really need to show it until it's further along. The waiting will suck but hell, I waited two years just to see Sony Bend's game (Days Gone) and to be perfectly honest, I prefer games to be like Fallout 4 and Watch Dogs 2. Announced, shown and released six months later.

As for Sucker Punch, im happy that it wasn't them working on Spider Man. Sucker Punch is Sony's third best first party and for them to be working on a movie licensed IP would have been a disappointment. Plus, Infamous was kind of like a super hero powers game and I want to see something different from them. Insomniac was and is the perfect choice when you take everything into consideration.

I fully expect TLG to be at TGS in late September and at PGW in October which is the week the game releases. You'll definitely find out more at both shows. It's a slow paced story and puzzle driven adventure game. As someone who played Ico and SOTC, im not interested in TLG at all. I know exactly what I would be getting with the game and it's just not for me. Ico and SOTC have their cult followings but I really don't see the fascination with them but at the same time, it's not my type of game.

I'm very interested in how the game sells though because I think that outside of the fanatics who have been waiting ten years for it, I don't see it selling at all. Plus, it's in a horrible stacked month. TLG should have been released in early September before all the big October/November games hit.

Is sony doing a conferences at the Tokyo game show? I thought I heard they where skipping it? Of course even if they do most likely they will still have some games there. Of course, it all remains to be seen. Releasing it in October is a bad decision in my opinion. Month is too stacked. I have four games alone and none of them are the TLG. November is also somewhat packed. Sony should have tried to release it in early September which is kind of empty compared to October and November.

I have thought about getting the new Tomb Raider game that came out on xboxone last year has I haven't played it or the last one before but heard a lot of good things about it and it comes out in October but even then I would most likely go back and get the one before that is also much cheaper being that it is older.

Either way, pretty sure that the majority of their focus is on Spider Man. I wish Sony would let them re-master the Resistance franchise and make a new one. I have always wondered why Sony didn't alternate between Killzone and Resistance. Two good FPS franchises.

If the games don't get people to buy a base PS4, an upgraded PS4 isn't going to make any difference in that region. PSVR will probably be shown but at the same time, it's currently sold out and unless they have another batch ready for launch, no point in getting people hyped wanting to buy it yet there's nothing to buy. Plus, showing PSVR games doesn't really show what it's like to actually play the games in VR.

TLG could hit 2m since digital sales is increasing but 94 metacritic? No way. I'll be shocked if that happens. This generation has seen critics be harder on games than last gen. There's only been 13 games on PS4 rated 90 or higher with 4 of them being last gen ports. We'll see though.

Four games for me in October. Mafia III, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Battlefield 1 and Gears of War 4 (xbox one) will all be pre-ordered. Add in other games such as World of Final Fantasy, Titan Fall 2, WWE 2K17 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim re-mastered and yeah, October is definitely stacked. I have Watch Dogs 2 and COD: IW in November. Basically, I have six games in six weeks. September and December are my dead months but even then, I have ReCore (xbox one) in September that I'll pick up in October and possibly South Park: The Fractured But Whole in December.

Early 2017 is thus far packed as well. Yakuza Zero and Sniper in January, For Honor and Horizon in February and Ghost Recon in March. If anything, I have too many games. LOL.

Rise of the Tomb Raider is an excellent game and with the extras added in for the PS4 version, im definitely buying it again. Tomb Raider 2013 was good but Rise is easily better. Plus, the game appears to be locked at 30FPS and the lag with the aiming, etc. has been fixed. Definitely worth playing in my opinion.

Back to TLG, outside of those who have been waiting for it for the last ten years, I don't see many people buying the game. It's just too packed. BF1 and COD will sell 10m+ easy and others will hit the few million mark. TLG is this year's Rise of the Tomb Raider in that while it could be an excellent game, it's going to get lost in the shuffle.

We'll definitely find out. I just don't think that Sony had enough time. We'll see. Either way, going by people on neogaf who know way more than I do about specs and all that technical stuff, they seem to think that people are expecting too much from Neo.

Have to wait and see. I'm more interested in seeing if the rumors of Red Dead 3 being at the Meeting turns out to be true.

I really don't get why people say that Sony doesn't have time to change the specs. First we don't even no for sure if the leaks where 100% real and second there where also rumors about Sony and 2 different ideas of specs to use for NEO. So even if the leaks where real sony may have already had a idea of a higher spec NEO then the leak in the first place and also the leak was months and months ago. Also power is not ever thing any way. If NEO comes around a year before Scorpio and is cheaper that is going to help a lot to. I have heard people say that Scorpio is going to cost a lot and even if Say NEO is 400 and Scorpio is 400 when it comes out considering its over a year or so in till Scorpio comes out Sony could just then price cut the NEO right around the time Scorpio comes out to get cheaper again.

I have heard some people say that about Tomb Raider but I have also heard some people say the 2013 one was better and yeah I heard how the new one looks to be better on ps4 then it was on xboxone earlier this year. Well I think TLG has a lot of hype around it and like I said I never even played SOTC or ICO in till the other day and even before that I had a lot of hype for TLG so I don't think it is just a small group or people who played the other 2 games that want to get the game. Now maybe it is not going to do like 15m or something but I do think it will do more then just like 1 million.
