I can be positive I am positive that Sony are great at video games lol. But I really want this game right now! So what time is Sony show next week? I have collage that day from 9:30-3:30 that day. Looking forward to getting answers about the NEO and also looking forward to Tokyo game show the week after. With all the rumors about the NEO and also about the NX with Nintendo this has been like the longest year ever lol.

Maybe but I always fell better when a game is given a date and not just said like 2016, 2017 etc. If a game is said to be like November 15 instead of just saying 2016 or something it means a better changes of not being pushed back again and more likely it is close to being done then just getting a year. With how long TLG has been being made this year was the first time we got a date other then just a year before. The game was shown in 2009 and from like 2011 to like 2014 nothing was shown and people thought the game was died. Then we finally got something last year and then again this year.

There's no way in hell that The Last Guardian gets delayed. October 25th is set in stone. Sony has already delayed Gran Turismo Sport to sometime in 2017. No way Sony delays the last remaining first party game that they have for 2016. If the game does in fact get delayed, then Sony should just cancel the game and move on. Seriously, eight years is insane. Time to crap or get off the pot.

I think you'll get a gameplay demo at PGW and shortly thereafter, a release trailer. Sony already has a stacked lineup for TGS so TLG not being there isn't a big deal especially when Sony knows it will surpass ICO/SOTC combined in sales based on just fans wanting the game since 2009.

I just think that sometimes when a game goes through development hell, gets delayed, vanishes for years, it's just time to cut your losses and move on. Only other option is to just say screw it and release the game no matter what.

Again, I truly don't see the game getting delayed to 2017. Sony delaying Gran Turismo Sport to 2017 wasn't a surprise at all to me. Delaying TLG after all this damn time would surprise me. Plus, it goes into a bad situation in early 2017 considering it's also stacked. The difference being that Fall release has a far greater chance in sales due to the Holiday shopping season. The first three months of the following year is usually when most people are paying off what they spent for the previous Holiday season.

It is only about a month and 3 weeks in till it is suppose to come out though and we have heard nothing after E3. If the game was still coming out in October we would most likely hear more about it at either Tokyo game show or at the Sony meeting thing. If they don't show it before then when else would they show it and why would they skip Tokyo game show with how close that is from when the game is suppose to come out? It makes zero since if the game is coming in October to not have it at the Tokyo game show. The only thing I could think of if it is still coming out in October is that it is going to be shown at Tokyo game show and that the list of games that are going to be shown at the show is just not final yet.

Look at how much we all heard about No Man's Sky and that has turned into a cluster**** for Sony to where they have actually given back refunds on PSN which I don't think has ever happened before. Hell, they don't even give you refunds if your account gets hacked so that's definitely saying something.

TLG should be shown at the TGS but at the same time, maybe they haven't decided yet on whether to show it or not and whether to have it playable or not. Don't see TLG being shown at the PlayStation Meeting.

Well it is true that the closer a game gets to coming out the less likely it is going to be pushed back because it does take time to get certified like you said but I do remember DK tropical freeze a few years back was like 3 weeks from coming out and then got pushed back by like 2 months or something. That is the closest I can remember a game being pushed back as you got close to coming out.

Actually, Final Fantasy XV would probably be the most recent game that comes to mind. Less than two months from release and it gets delayed two months. More importantly, the game actually went Gold. November 15th. Seeing as how TLG is three weeks earlier, I believe that if it was getting delayed, it would have happened already. The only way I see TLG getting delayed to 2017 is if some game breaking bug or disaster happens and they have no other option. Other than that, I'll be shocked if you're not playing the game on October 25th.

Maybe its just wishful thinking on my part, would be perfect timing for me to tide me over, especially if it is priced as low as I heard it might be. An article I just read made a compelling case (in my biased eyes) for Sony going the Apple route and dropping a "and you can game on a PS4 slim RIGHT NOW!" at the press conference

My guess is September 13th, 2016. If Neo gets announced for a few weeks later, are you still buying a Slim or just wait for Neo?
