Where did you hear that Horizon has been in development since 2010? We never saw or heard about Horizon in till 2015 and Kill zone 3 came out in late 2013. So how would Horizon been in development like 3 years before Kill zone even came out? Now TLG was shown for the first time back in like 2009 so we know it was started on in 2008 maybe earlier but I think you are way off on Horizon. I don't see how Horizon could have been started on before like 2012.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I'm excited to be playing on a PS4 again on Thursday. Gonna download Hardline right away and hope the fellas are on.
Undecided on M17, all the good leagues are full. I missed that window by a couple weeks.
I am looking forward to seeing if the new controller has better battery life than launch controllers, and also taking advantage of the improved wifi support"Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Lack of mod support does little for me. It's only Bethesda games on top of it, which have always had issues with Sony hardware. I had read weeks ago that Skyrim console mods were having tons of issues anyway.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
So looks like I am going to need to upgrade my hard drive very soon. I am down to like 26 GB. So I have a few question when it comes to getting a new hard drive and getting all of my stuff back onto the new hard drive. So are these the steps I need to do or are there another things?
1. Download the newest firmware update onto a USB stick
2. Install that firmware update from USB stick onto the ps4 and its new hard drive.
3. Re install all of my games onto the new hard drive
4. Load my game file saves from a USB stick onto the new hard drive.
5. Re download all my DLC.
Am I missing any thing I need to know?Comment

There was a time when Target.com had PS3 for $40, and we ordered five of them. They realized the mistake, adjusted the prices and canceled our orders. Only the earliest birds lucked out when they shipped before adjustment.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Yeah but that's blatant in your face too good to be true. Something about this deal is amazing but not in that category.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Oh I know that GI had Horizon on the cover this month but I didn't hear about the 2010 part. That really doesn't sound right. Could it be that in 2010 they had some ideas of the type of games they wanted to make going forward and one of those was lets make a game with robot dinosaurs but didn't really start working on it in till later. If you look at the Spider-Man game it only was started on last year the year before ratchet and clank came out with it coming out this year. I know different people make that game but that makes me think that Horizon would be similar in that they would have started it a year before there last game kill zone 3 came out and that would mean that they started on it in 2012.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
If you have an external usb hard drive kicking around, you could use it to back up all your saves as well as full game installs too and then put them on the new hard drive. It's faster than redownloading or the usb stick.
But if you don't yeah, this is the way to go.

I don't have a extra external hard drive and I have no idea how you even use those lol. When it comes to this I still wish we had memory cards. Just downloading a demo takes forever with the internet I have so having to re download all the patches and DLC is going to take forever like a few days I think. When it comes to re downloading things like demos and DLC how do you do it? I know on ps3 it was easier has there was like a list that showed your past downloads that was easy to find. I know with ps4 that it is different. With ps3 I never had to do this because even after like having 30 games on it I still had like 20 GB left out of 160 but now that ever game has to be installed on the hard drive spaces goes much faster.Comment

I did this when I bought a 2TB external for my Xbox One and a new internal 2TB hard drive for my PS4. I used the external to move everything off my old 500GB HDD onto it, installed the 2TB HDD, downloaded the latest system software onto a USB stick, plugged it in to my PS4 and then moved everything off the external onto the new 2TB internal. I then reformatted the external and just plugged it in to my Xbox One and immediately added that storage to my X1 capacity. Honestly, it sounds alot harder than it is, as the PS4 does most of the work. The toughest part is remembering to format the USB stick to FAT32 before downloading the PS4 system software to it or the PS4 won't recognize the file.
As for where to find your previously downloaded stuff, if you scroll all the way to the right on the PS4 dash, you come to a thing called Library. In there you can cue up whatever you want to download onto your new hard drive.
