Seriously, it's probably nominal in what you're gonna see in those pics. Prolly better off seeing it in person.

While I have seen some before and after photos with HDR and with out HDR before but not always for a certain game.

I see a lot of talk about PSPro and HDR being a big reason, then people mentioning PSVR as well. Just remember, thanks to the brilliance at Sony, you can't do HDR through the PSVR breakout box so you will have to have a splitter or disconnect before every time you go to play and use HDR.

The one deliverance I was looking for was 60 FPS. That could have tipped me over the edge.

You are lucky that either you are single or your wife knows not what you do. My wife would KILL me if I went and bought that next week.

It'll have to be like a Christmas story, I have to start dropping hints and working it in until gradually she will accept it.

Or I will buy it when she's at work, swap it out with my PS4, then hope she doesn't notice that what once looked like a double cheeseburger is now a triple cheeseburger

I am probably gonna put my Slim up on CL either Saturday or Sunday. I can offer an upgraded HD with it as well as a game like Doom or Rock Band 4 so I am sure I can move it pretty quickly

Well as someone who was single most of my adult life I can say there are a good number of advantages you really never knew you had until you get married.

I remember when I lived at home (when I was like age 20 before I moved out) I used to have to sneak in games because my mom would cause a big argument if I bought a game instead of giving her money since I was living there rent free and just giving her money whenever she asked.

Anyways, I loved the FREEDOM to move out and buy WHATEVER I wanted damnit, no matter how stupid or irresponsible it was... that lasted 20 years.

Now every purchase over about $20 can potentially cause a 'discussion'. Don't get me wrong, my wife is cool and loves video games too, but we have a lot of stuff we need for our house and me dropping $$$ on games isn't even real popular ("you have enough to play!" she would say... and you know what, she is right actually I have way too many games unplayed right now..) let alone dropping $400 for a new PS4 that will, to her be the exact same thing I already have.

I have to figure out some way to do it like bundle my old PS4 with games/controllers, whatever and get like $250 or $300 out of it, then figure out something like hoping my Buckeyes win me some money in my football pool to be able to say "Hey look Stef, this cost me NOTHING out of pocket!) LOL.

Or again, just swap it out when she's at work..LOL I had a glorious 20 year something run of complete freedom, so enjoy it while you can. I know you think you may never marry but I thought the same thing too (I'm also a quite odd looking fellow and my personality is very eccentric)...and here I am!
