I saw on another forum just now a thread regarding the first screenshots of Titanfall 2 on Pro at 1080p using the downsampling (is this the same thing as the supersampling technique discussed earlier in this thread) with comparison shots to vanilla PS4 and there are marked improvements in the Pro images. Very noticeable difference and it's just a still shot. Really can't wait to see Horizon running on this bad boy with my own eyes. TF2 is a game that the Devs themselves said they had to kind of rush support for the Pro so its awesome to see that even with that minimal time on it, there are still demonstrable improvements.

I gotta be honest I fist pumped when I saw them. I have been fighting a seemingly uphill battle in thread from the very beginning of the Pro rumors and it looks like some vindication is coming. Gonna love rocking the Pro on my 1080p display (and then even MORE SO on my future 4k display whenever I upgrade). Wednesday night can't get here soon enough. Let's go baby. Let's GO. I think Pro and Scorpio are both a big step in the right direction for console gaming and I can't wait to see what the future has in store.

      To paraphrase Nate Diaz:

      Not Surprised, Dudes

      (Keeping it PG in here)

The 1080p 60fps uploads from the Pro I have seen far (all 3 of them, admittedly) look super crisp and clean as well. LETS GO

Hard drive stuff still seems to be a mystery, however. Still waiting anxiously to find out the facts about that area

Can't wait to see some 4k stuff with my own eyes at some point as well (wanna make it clear I am not anti-4k, thats not the point of this, its that there was so much "its useless for 1080p" talk for so long, thats what I am referring to. 4k is awesome and 4k is the future, dont get me wrong, 4k and 1080p users are gonna be happy with the Pro and Scorpio for a long time)
      Just saw

so if this ps4 pro does this AUTOMATICALLY without needing t have a patch by developer than i will be the happiest ive been with gaming since the first time playing a reg ps4.

I've had mine for about a month and absolutely love it. Maybe I'm not as sensitive to it as others are, but I haven't had any issues with motion blur. I got my 65" for $1799, but got $100 back this week since it's on sale for $1699. It was worth every penny, I use it for games and movies and both look amazing on it. I can't wait to hook the Pro up to it this week.

I'm one who dislikes curved tvs. It's not for me. Some people don't mind, but it's not for everyone.

Yea I agree with you. I would only go bigger when getting a tv. My last tv was a 50 inch and my ks8000 is a 65 inch tv.

I didn't even realize that Knack was getting Pro support. Apparently Knack and Rise of the Tomb Raider show the biggest gains on 1080p so far. I expected that with ROTTR, pleasantly surprised by Knack. I was waiting and waiting for that game to be free on PSN+ but I guess I will find a cheap copy of it used no w

There are starting to eb comparison shots for the ps4 pro running reg 1080p content.

basically whats being said is that the ps4 pro will ALWAYS used downsampling on ANY game that it 1080p

so it renders 1440p down to 1080p. meanign it makes the game LOOK like 1440p on the tvs ONLY output of 1080p

If this is true and app it is via screen shots of skyrim special edition than this is absolutely fantastic'

So someone is posting 1080p 60fps from the ps4 pro? Are they using an external capture card? Also, i read somewhere last night that the ps4 pro could actually record 60fps but at 720p. Any truth to that? I really wanted 1080p 60fps with out needing external hardware but 720p 60fps would suffice. Thanks

I'm sure they're using an elgato device. If you're looking make videos, it would be a better choice than relying on the share capabilities.

If you watch content with fast-moving objects, like in action movies or sports, having a TV with a fast response time is important if you don't want much motion blur.

If you notice the Samsung J6200 sits right in the middle of the best motion blur TV's

I own this tv. Its absolutely crazy. Its a 120hz panel and can interpolate 30fps and 60ps content so average ps4 and xbox one games look like there on PC running super smooth 60fps. The soap opera effect doesnt RUIN it for video games as it does for movies, it actually enhances it.

the ks8000 has little motion blur but i take that all day over 45ms input lag on your set. And that is in game mode which is what should be used. If you are using interpolation then that means you deactivated game mode which brings input lag to 65 which is not for gaming but neither is 45ms
