On the flip side, you lesson your chances greatly of having a Craigslist buyer shooting you for your products by taking that $300. It happens way too often, especially down here in Dallas.

That's highly unlikely if you're smart. You could get shot in the mall or the parking lot leaving the mall. All scenarios are not very likely

I've used craigslist twice (Both to get Madden early)..
1st time we met at a very populated business area in Rockville MD and the other at our local State Police

Just have to be smart about it.

Seems to be pretty much the same process as with the Slim

For Canadians EB Games is giving $210 for the trade in for a Pro which is $499 here. You only pay tax on the difference as well. Not a great deal but OK. I won't be doing it although I do want a pro some day. If it had the UHD drive I would have.

Any word on whether or not the hdmi cable included is hdmi 2.0. I assume it is but you never know.

I wasn't initially sold on the Pro but after looking into it a little more I have decided to buy.
I'm encouraged by the amount of PSVR games listed for updates for Pro support. Although I had to return my unit the refund has covered the cost of the new console.
If the Pro improves the PSVR I will definitely buy another unit when the tracking issues have been remedied by Sony.
I'm guessing the cabling for the Pro is the same as the standard PS4,I can't face dismantling my TV set up again to install the new console as I have had it apart twice in recent weeks for the PSVR install/uninstalling.

Does anyone know if it's the same power supply cable?

Oh don't get me wrong, I've used Craigslist and Facebook multiple times to sell, but I also wouldn't blame someone for not wanting to risk it. The scenario I gave was mid-daylight, along a busy interstate, at a packed restaurant.

Ultimately, on a much more universal note, I think a lot of times the lower value of the trade is worth the quick simplicity of rolling up to the store and parting ways for a little credit or money. Hell I do it half the time just because it's easier amidst an already very busy schedule. I just consider the loss in revenue a convenience cost. Lol.

there is no hdmi 2.0 cable it is a 4K cable that comes with Pro

The hdmi input on the Pro is 2.0 now which is a software update

So i guess you do not get HDR in base PS4 if you have a 4K tv?

Opps never mind it works for PS4 base as well, just fired it up and HDR icon popped up on screen

2 premium consoles at 300 is simplicity for who? GameStop for sure but you can easily sell in 1 day both consoles for 400 and not have to drop 100 after being bent over by gamestop for a pro
