So for people who don't have a ps4 yet I saw on the black Friday BB add that they have the 500 GB slim uncharted bundle and you also get ratchet and clank and the last of use for 250. Pretty darn good deal. 50 less then the normal ps4 price and you get 3 games to start. I also saw that the ks8000 55 inch TV looks like it is going to be 997 wondering if the 49 inch one will be even cheaper maybe like 900 or something?

I do and have a 4K HDR tv. Waiting for everything to transfer and then I'll report back. NBA 2k in native 4K and HDR. Got to see this lol.. should be in about an hour.

Texture streaming and load times feel the same to me so far in TF2 as they did on slim

My stream of TF2. Something seems off. Resolution of the vid keeps getting fuzzy. Maybe my upload speed isn't strong enough for 1080p/60 streaming?

After looking at this stuff on my PC it is abundantly clear to me that pics/bids might just not do it justice as far as 1080p improvements. Titanfall 2 is gorgeous in 1080p on the Pro. The crispness of the image reminds me of playing a good looking game on my decent PC. For 1080pers you probably need to go into a BB or wherever and see it for yourself, live and in person, to decide if the upgrade is worth it for you.

Time for some Call of Duty: IW, and then Dishonored 2 before a "power nap" of sleep

CoD isn't "popping" much at all for me at 1080p. On my screen it seems like very minimal improvements, if at all.

I took some screens and will post later. Didn't get to Dishonored 2, too tired. Just set a bunch of stuff to download and put it in rest mode.

So to sum it up so far, for me:

TF2 noticeable difference in Pro Mode. Looks fantastic.

CoD not so much.

Will get into a bunch of games tomorrow, Dishonored 2 and ROTTR on top of the list

Noise and Heat wise it seems very similar to my original PS4 (not Slim, launch one)

Apparently it was announced today that Final Fantasy 15 is going to aim for 60 fps at 1080p on the Pro

Ok so NBA2k looks insane in 4K native and HDR. The HDR on the pro looks a lot brighter than on the regular PS4. Night and day difference. I'm extremely impressed! I'm literally blown away at how good this game looks. As soon as I started the game I instantly noticed how sharp it looked and the colors were great too. For some reason HDR on the regular PS4 looks very dark and I wonder if that has anything to do with the hdmi 1.4 limitations. I'm still in awe at how incredible NBA2k looks on the pro. If more games start looking like this we're in for a treat.

I noticed the UI is a lot smoother. Going to bed now. Later on I'll try some of the other games to see how they look. So far I'm happy with my purchase.

Good to hear. Can you let us know what options NBA 2k17 has?

I.e. Does it offer 1080p at 60fps.....offer 4K...offer enhanced visuals...etc?

I mean in the menu for the game (like Tomb Raider offers lots of graphic choices) Can you pick and choose several options?

Very happy to hear this hdr on ps4 and xbox one s had me thinking HDR wasnt that great to say the least cant wait to get off work and see my 4k tv go to work, just curious you have the KS8000 correct??

I have NBA2k17 it's downloading while I'm at work so I can play it when I get home. Only thing I did with the Pro last night when I got it was set it up and get all my settings correct then I had to get ready for work.

Initial impression like Jarebear said it's large and in charge compared to vanilla PS4

The optomized games I have currently are
NBA2k17, BF 1 and Uncharted 4

Picked up my pro last night but didn't have a chance to hook it up. I plan on setting it up in a bit and start the download process while I'm at work and hope that all my games are finished downloading when I get home to try out some pro goodness [emoji106]

Man. This decision is difficult. I only have a 1080p setup and initially was fired up for the improved performance and frame rates. Being primarily sports gamer I was hoping for improved visuals and consistent smoothness in play. Reading the glowing reviews of how great 4k and hdr have me starting to think of trying to get a TV too! I can't afford that right now. It's causing me to obsess over how to sell stuff and try to get a deal to get both ps4 pro and TV and honestly it's causing stress. I was originally excited but now the ps4 pro release and deciding what to do is causing mental drama. I'll probably still get it since it is practically free with my best buy rewards but I will have to convince myself that 4k TV is not an option for a while. Thanks for listening to my rant!!!! Hahaha
