I got a 55-inch LG (55UH6150) for $700 last summer. It's usually on sale in that price range at BB. It's not HDR but has a Deep Color mode that the Pro recognizes as HDR. It's not top of the line but I've been very happy with it.

The model that's advertised as being HDR is about $400 more typically.

Edit: Supposedly it does support HDR even though that wasn't advertised with it.

Shows on sale for $599.99 right now. If that's actual HDR, that's a steal.

It doesn't support Wide Color Gamut, so it won't be able to fully do HDR10.

I think Cuz it's evening time they normally get it a few hours before us anyway since tonight it will be Wednesday morning there so it's possible we could get it today.. but this is no doubt a sign the update is close!

I also have the Sony X800D 43 inch 4K HDR TV. It cost me $650 plus tax so like Jr said, just over $700. For the price range and size, it's the best 4K HDR TV available. The only 4K HDR TV that is said to be better is the Samsung KS8000 but I didn't want to spend double.

The 49 inch has an external power brick and an IPS panel. According to rtings.com, the panel on the 43 inch is better simply because the 49 inch is closer to the X700D series but with a wide color gamut. For HDR gaming, the 43 inch is better.

The Sony X800D is an excellent TV and while the peak brightness is low due to it being only 350 nits max, you wouldn't know it when looking at the screen. Horizon for example looks absolutely stunning.

For the size, price and capabilities, you can't go wrong with the X800D. Of course, it depends on what you're looking for and how much money you're willing to spend.

Seriously thinking of getting this TV to tide me over for a year or two before Sony's OLED (and OLEDs in general) goes down in price. My only concern with this tv is that it is native 60Hz. I know it won't effect console gaming (as 60Hz is the max), but how is it for sports? Do you notice any blur?

Has anyone had issues with setting up PayPal for PS4? Whenever I go through the process it goes to an error screen, I know my credentials are correct as I tried it on other platforms that use paypal as well. Just wondering if anyone knows what the issue might be if it's on the PS4 end

Yeah, I had that happen for a while and I tried again a few days later and it worked. Just seems a bit hit or miss to be honest. Very frustrating.
