The one S just upscale so no games are in 4K really, whereas PS4 Pro does 4k and the difference is pretty big. I was pretty disappointed when I got the Xbox one s after owning a pro for months and noticed very little difference in the games on Xbox..

Will be surprised if Sony releases a PS4 Pro Slim or a PS4 Super Slim because it would only be about a year since the previous consoles launched. The rumor comes from a digitimes article.

Definitely a big difference between PS4 Pro and Xbox One Slim. However, Forza Horizon 3 does look freaking awesome!!!

How do you look at important announcement on ps4 like if you get a code from sony or something? Before the last update it was easier to find things. I don't know why sony made it harder to find things with the last update.

I have a good friend who got a 4K tv and upgraded his Xbox One to Xbox One S. He told me he didn't see much of a difference. He just kept saying "well the interface looks a lot better and Forza Horizon 3 looks great with HDR" and that's about it. I told him to get a PS4 Pro and he would. Well it took awhile for him to do it and I bugged him a good bit to try it. Finally he did and he called me up and was so excited about how much more amazing it was than he ever thought it would be!

This was before I got the Xbox One S so then I really did think to myself "well maybe the Xbox One S just isn't quite the same upgrade as the Pro" and boy once I got the upgraded Xbox One I found out just how right I was. I said the same thing as he did "well the interface looks much better" and "Forza Horizon 3 has nice HDR"!

The PS4 to PS4 Pro leap is huge.... it's major. The difference on Xbox One to Xbox One S is not that much different at all other than you now have a UHD player and HDR in a few games.

The difference is PS4 Pro does 4k. So what games actually do 4k? I've been trying to google this, but I only find lists of games that are HDR..

The PS4 has a form of HDR which isn't real HDR. True HDR cannot be broadcast via the 1.4 HDMI so the PS4's HDR is some limited form of it. From what people on here have said, it's nowhere close to true HDR that is via the 2.2 HDMI that the PS4 Pro supports.. Possibly because the HDR on the PS4 cannot support the wide color gamut that the PS4 Pro HDR supports. Many of my friends and family who have seen my PS4 Pro running on my new TV have commented more about the wide color gamut more than anything else on my new TV.

Old games such as Infamous and The Last of Us that were specifically written to be enhanced for PS4 Pro show major graphical upgrades as they have been specifically remastered for the PS4 Pro and will have less jaggies, improved framerates, etc.

wow I cant believe no one knows what I am talking about. Some times Sony will send out codes to people for like $5 to use on PlayStation store and you can see that on the system its self. When the last update came out they chanced the layout when it comes to seeing different things. I will have to turn my ps4 on so I can hopeful explain it better. I have not played my ps4 in like 3 weeks or so been playing Zelda.

I imagine it will now be in the all-encompassing "Notifications" tab and you might have to scroll down to see it. It's a pretty terrible change with 4.50 for an otherwise awesome system update.
