Re: Owners of both PS4 and Xbox One: Pros and Cons
That and blu ray were the only reasons why I owned a PS3.
I use to be a huge fan of Gran Turismo until I played forza. After that it was never the same. Gran Turismo 5 took forever to come out in the PS3 and wasn't decent until close to 7 patches. The ice skating physics while driving and the balloon collision physics with fake damage made the game almost unplayable for me. To me GOW and MLB the show are huge.

Re: Owners of both PS4 and Xbox One: Pros and Cons
Looks like I'll be joining this group as I jumped on the sale for the acu bundle! Pretty excited to finally be able to play Forza(though I had a 360 just red ringed on me in 09) and to try out Sunset Overdrive. I'm also eager to go poor next year now that I have access to all the exclusives, Quantum Break, The Order, Bloodborne, Rise of Tomb Raider, Uncharted 4, and Halo 5.Last edited by lakers24; 12-07-2014, 02:48 AM.Comment

Re: Owners of both PS4 and Xbox One: Pros and Cons
I'll own a One eventually for Halo action, but right now my PS4 still has my heart. I'll always prefer the simplicity and easy navigation of the PS4 dashboard compared to Xbox. I hate it almost as much as I hate Windows 8 or NCAA 14's block style menu.. Just not my thing.
I've played both and I can definitely spot differences in graphics, but it's not enough to tell right now. In time, I think the PS4 will pull away graphically.
I'm not too worried about sales. I owned both consoles last generation and I'll do the same one day, but not any time soon. I feel like my PS4 gives me the most bang for my buck and I'm still a bit sour on the Microsoft policy flip flopping pre release. If you believe in something, stand by it.. even If someone like me doesn't agree with it.
I don't know why people have such a hard time deciding what's best for them. I guess that just shows both consoles have a lot to offer for different folks.
I was also a PS+ member with my PS3. The deals with that program were unbelievably good and it's still delivering on the PS3. When the catalog of games is finally large enough to support it, I'm expecting some cool free stuff down the road.Comment

Re: Owners of both PS4 and Xbox One: Pros and Cons
Just wanted some advice. I have a ps4 and love it. Just wondered if getting an Xbox one 4 Xmas would be worth it. If so, w or without the kinect. Love video gaming.Comment

Re: Owners of both PS4 and Xbox One: Pros and Cons
If you don't want the Xbox exclusives or to use Kinect and the TV features I'd just tell you to get a PS4 for another room....
Otherwise I'd get the Xbox One with Kinect and use all those features.
If you just want the exclusives then get one without Kinect.
My honest opinion, I only have Xbox One, but how I'd go. I just personally love the TV and voice stuff (changing channels to ESPN with my voice is great with a 9 month old lol)Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

I agree, but for the last part, I have to have both. If the exclusives and Kinect aren't your thing then stick w ps4.If you don't want the Xbox exclusives or to use Kinect and the TV features I'd just tell you to get a PS4 for another room....

If you get an Xbox One though you gotta get a Kinect with it IMO. Otherwise you are just buying a less powerful ps4 and I see no point to that..Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20
