Pretty sure they said all Xbox One games will play on all the consoles (S, Scorpio), not all games.

The One will be the least common denominator.

Lol that's what I meant, sorry I thought that part was obvious.

The way I see it, if they are releasing all their exclusives on PC, why would you buy a slim or scorpio?

Sea of Thieves looked fun but other than that I didn't see anything that interested me. Since Project Scorpio won't be coming out this year I think next years E3 will be better since they will probably show off some games playing on the Scorpio.

Are they really gonna be able to pull of 60fps at 4k? I can see 60fps being the new normal at 1080p but 60fps at 4k seems like it would take an even more powerful GPU than that.

It would be horrible if games on Scorpio can't/won't run on the current base Xbox One and Xbox One Slim.
Will just be one game on the disc, and the equivalent of running the same code on two different PCs. The ecosystem is ensuring the compatibility, but it's going to be BC, I don't see some new game that requires more than 3x the processing of an Xbox One title playable on old hardware.

                Not a chance @ 60 fps and 4k.

That'd really depend on the game, those are pretty arbitrary numbers.

Yeah when they were talking about 60fps I was thinking that is gonna be the new uncompromised norm for 1080p gaming. I am reading some articles now talking about "4k60" from the Scorpio, I think that may have been misunderstood.

It really depends. They're obviously in bed with AMD and have a better idea of what's coming. We have an understanding about AMDs Polaris architecture, but Vega is something unknown at this point.

I think when people think of Xbox, they think of AAA titles. Those title will have issues with 4k@60fps based on our current knowledge.

For me personally I prefer to be on a console. PC releases always seem to have trouble and cheaters galore. Plus u don't have to build the pic to compete.

                          This is how I feel.

I will play a game like Arkham Knight or Witcher 3 on PC every time, but anything multi-player focused I prefer console because of cheaters and whatnot .

Because me and alot of other people don't have PCs capable of running these games and have no intention of purchasing/building one. I think what you can do with PC gaming is cool but I like to just buy my console, hook it up and play.
It’s easier to do the right thing, than to explain why you didn’t.

                              I'm the opposite.

Using a controller for FPS competitive shooters doesn't feel natural. I prefer to be competitive. I find Overwatch to be awkward using a controller. The game also plays differently. Some heroes are more useful when you bring a pointing device that's more accurate.

There are cheaters on PC, but there are server admins and hopefully the publisher/developer helps out with that.

I like how PC is about choice. I can use whatever controller I want if the game supports it. There is usually a decent modding community to help support and improve games.

Once I build my PC this is probably what I'll do, play most single player, RPG/open world type games on PC and stick with X1/PS4 for more MP/Sports games.

I really do like the feature of it being buy it once play on both and progress is the same on both type thing though, that's really awesome.
