Looks like XBOX ONE S will get Atmos support for all you audio junkies...This will finally make the 4K blu ray experience whole...Great job

I'm trying to think how I can add atmos to my setup, I have 5 in ceiling speakers and wouldn't mind an atmos setup.

it will change your audio experience for sure....If you can get that KS9800 with the little input lag and atmos then you will be in not only gaming heaven but movie watching heaven....Yikeess

More possible that retailers just pile on games than reduce the price. It's possible though.

you most likely see a sale on the regular xbox one to like 250 the S i highly doubt this short amount of time since release will be 250

not unless MS wants to piss of customers who spent 300 just a couple of months ago

I think they already pissed of customers when xboxone went from 500 to 300 in less then 3 years and from 500 to 400 in less then a year.

I don't think anyone lost sleep over it. Anyone that price sensitive shouldn't be buying any technology day one.

A purchase needs to be worth what you're paying for it or you will never buy anything or live your entire life with unfounded regret.

I think they already pissed of customers when xboxone went from 500 to 300 in less then 3 years and from 500 to 400 in less then a year.

3 years and full year different then couple of months....And the bad vibe they gave off has started to turn with the S so why would they mess that up

and Sony lowered 100 dollars in 2 half year and are bringing out a new console in 3 year after getting 400 from their fans

So it works both ways.

The original Xbox One already has two bundles for $249. It's been that way since the S released.

I would imagine we'll see game bundles as opposed to a price drop though, as others have mentioned.

I agree that they have been able to get rid of a lot of the vibe but it still happened and Sony didn't lower there price even close to has much and fast has Microsoft did.

Yes it is true with video consoles that you pay more if you get it right away and don't want but I cant ever remember a system dropping has fast has Microsoft did with the xboxone.

The Kinect was the problem for the high cost. MS should have never made the kinect. What that should do is make a "TV kinect" that's is just a mic, so you can give TV commands. The camera on my kinect has had a cover on it for years. Useless.

I don't. Our Kinect is still used today and we're probably going to buy one for our second Xbox for voice dictation alone. In hindsight they would have been better served for it to be an accessory rather than packed in is all.

Hilarious that people are still using covers and whatnot though.

I think people forget how many of those things they sold (24 million) last gen.
