Not sure how many gamers have played Dreams in VR here but it's a blast! So many new games coming out each day. Going to fit this back into my routine again. I think creating games in VR is going to be even better.

Those who haven't gone to InDreams.Me should, so you can see what's news, happenings, tutorials, and such. You can see all the games and their info. I encourage regular 2D Dreams players to also go there for updates.

We maybe getting lots of VR news during Sony's next State of Play.

Jeff Grubb from VentureBeat has been on quite the hot streak this summer. His twitter account has become a go-to place for all things related to E3 replacement events. He even correctly predicted the PS5 event a month prior. All summer long he has mentioned a potential upcoming State of Play for August. I too feel very confident this is the case. However, I think the community could be setting expectations too high.

This is not going to be a PlayStation 5 pricing event. I am not even sure this is going to be a PlayStation 5 event. I think Sony is going to use this State of Play to showcase PS4, PSVR, and maybe some PS5 games. Sony did not want to showcase any PS4 games during their PS5 June event. This is going to be a way for them to work with their partners and engage the existing base, separate from PS5. I expect things like Predator: Hunting Grounds updates. In addition to Avengers getting Spider-Man, Star Wars: Squadrons PSVR support, The Last of Us 2 multiplayer, some indie games, and a holiday VR game.

We could see some PS5 updates. For example, Resident Evil 8 PSVR support, GT7 PSVR Support, The Last of Us 2 coming to PS5, or how Hitman 3 will play previous Hitman titles come January. I don’t expect this to be a significant PS5 related State of Play. If people set their expectations too high, it could create some discourse. Either way, I feel very confident news of a State of Play is coming soon with updates to PS4, PS5 and PSVR titles.

Besides the PS Move Controllers and the Aim Controller, the PS Camera will also work with the PS5 but will require an adaptor that Sony is committing to offer for free!

Yes, PlayStation Camera will work with PS5 for playing supported PS VR games. It will require a PlayStation Camera adaptor that will be provided at no additional cost to PS VR users. More details on how to get the adaptor will be announced at a later date.

This Sony presentation was very disappointing. I have no words except that they don't know how to deliver a presentation. Big fail!!! Well, there was some good news; I feel like the 2 VR announcements where the best gaming options to look forward to from this presentation....lol

Hitman 3 was announced back in June at the PlayStation 5 event. While it’ll be on both current-gen and next-gen, PlayStation will have an exclusive feature: VR. This isn’t a one-off mode built specifically for the medium, the whole trilogy can be played in PlayStation VR.
