Re: Nintendo Switch Announced, Scheduled to Release March 2017
I didn't care for it when it was a PS+ freebie a few months back.

Re: Nintendo Switch Announced, Scheduled to Release March 2017
So my joycons are not charging properly. Nintendo claims something like 20 hours of gameplay between charges. I am lucky to hit 5 hours max. Going to let them fully drain before charging again. If that does not work I will have to contact Nintendo about replacements.Comment

Duel stick dungeon crawler. PS4 version is a top 5 PS4 experience for me, but that is not to say the game is for everyone. Perfect pick up and play type game on the Nintendo Switch tablet in my opinion. Content wise you will more than get your money's worth at the $40 price tag. All comes down to if you enjoy that type of game. I would suggest poking around on YouTube to get a better idea of what the game is all about. Seeing it in motion will better explain what you're in for than anything I can tell you.Comment

Re: Nintendo Switch Announced, Scheduled to Release March 2017
Can we get over the price complaints by people who didn't buy it to begin with? It's $300. It sold out. End of story.
And no, 1-2 Switch should not have been a pack in game. I know you want to say it's "Wii Sports" but it's not. It's a collection of 28 mini games, 27 of which require a second person. That would go over great and all the posts would be "how stupid is Nintendo for packing in a game that requires two people, what about people who are playing the system solo?" Now want to argue that 1-2 Switch should have been $29.99, fine. But I paid $50 and have got more than my money's worth. We played it for 4-5 hours last Saturday with my kids, their friends and family. It might be the best party game I've ever played, more so than Wii Sports.
But the endless argument that Nintendo priced it too high is tired and beaten to death here. Some of you passed on it for that reason, which is 100% fine and understandable. $300 is a lot to ask depending on your gaming style plus everyone had valid reasons for passing. I think any regular knows exactly who you are by now as the multiple posts telling everyone why. If it sat on shelves, we could argue but people bought it in droves. Best selling Nintendo system at launch.
I mean, I would always want something cheaper. Would have been all over a $249 bundle with a pro controller and Zelda but that's ludicrous.
Even if the PS4 and XB1 are $200 at Xmas time, the Switch will still be fine at $300. Because MS and Sony both will be pushing their new, more expensive systems anyway.
As for 1,2 Switch, im sorry but I don't see how this game shouldn't have been a pack in with the console? It requiring two players for 27 out of the 28 games is the brilliant part simply because of the way Nintendo has shown off the Switch, it has been built and based around more than one person playing. Just go back and watch their presentation in January, there was barely if any segments from Nintendo that didn't show two people playing. That's why majority of people were disappointed that it wasn't packed in. It's the perfect game to show off arguably the console's best feature.Comment

Re: Nintendo Switch Announced, Scheduled to Release March 2017
My problem with the $300 price tag isn't in regards to buying it for $300. My problem is that I just don't think that it will be able to compete at year's end when overall, there will be far superior gaming consoles available for less money or the same amount. Sony barely pushes PS4 Pro. Scorpio will definitely be pushed though by Microsoft.

Far superior is debatable. Maybe in your eyes they are. Maybe in mine they aren't. From a pure technical standpoint for graphics? Sure. For better games, debatable. Are either the Pro or Scorpio portable, can I pick it up and take it to work and play on my lunch hour? Can my kids play it in the backseat while we go on a drive? Your value in the systems vary from others as do mine.
Yes, it's silly to pack in a game that requires multiplayer. That's like Sony or Microsoft packing in a game requiring PS+ or XBL Gold. Absolutely silly to me. And knowing your posting history, I already know you would be bashing them for it like I said above. You and others would be complaining it wasn't Zelda. Nintendo can't win there. It's a $50 game designed for 2 players. Buy it or don't. NintendoLand was better multiplayer but could be solo and was hated as a pack in. Because, the best stuff was multiplayer and Nintendo took it out for awhile (later was thrown in again with Mario Kart or Splatoon bundles because they couldn't give it away) which is the more likely scenario in a few years for 1-2 Switch but not at launch.

Re: Nintendo Switch Announced, Scheduled to Release March 2017
GameStop says they'll have the Switch back in stock next Wednesday. Will you be able to pre-purchase or pre-order a console to ensure you get one? If not, guess I'll take the morning off of work and plan on getting in line.Currently Playing:
