its 98/10 based off of 67 reviews from major and minor review sites/publications?
The most basic of opinion IS overwhelming good
Not sure what you're trying to get at here. Obviously this game is good. Reviews are still just one persons opinion though. Nobody is saying this game is not good.
Re: Nintendo Switch Announced, Scheduled to Release March 2017
Ugh..really kicking myself for not bringing the Switch to work today to play at lunch. Thinking about BOTW and all I can get done in 45 minutes....which isn't a lot .
Last night, I brought the Switch up from the basement (my son was watching Fast Line WWE), so I relaxed on the couch. I specifically had in mind I was going to finally get to a particular point on the map, only to be sidetracked by something off in the distance. I'm far from an open world gamer, but this game has me hooked! Just so much to see and do.

This game is fantastic according to most everyone, but again, what's the point of saying that, I think most all of us here, myself included, figured it would be. The two big guns of Nintendo, Mario and Zelda, always deliver.
Its the other issues that give some of us reason to pause when considering to go all in on this system.

Has anyone experienced any issues with the left Joy-Con de-syncing while playing?
I saw something on GAF about people having issues when standing 10 feet or more away from the switch. A guy took them apart and said the antenna or adapter (whatever) is positioned poorly and easy to interfere with or something like that. I'm not an expert, I dunno how that at all works, just repeating what I read
"Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

There are articles on various gaming sites about it...it's when the Switch is docked and something (aquarium, hand, wires, etc) interferes with the left stick....not sure if there's a fix as of yet

No
I fully tested all 4 JoyCons and went 10 feet away and covered behind my back and had zero issues. My system sits next to my router and above my PS4.
I killed them for this JoyCon issue on twitter without using them and their silence. But I've had no issues what so ever.
I don't know if it was overblown or not. A good friend was a reviewer of a neon system and he had it numerous times.
I have a grey unit with neon extra JoyCons. I don't know if that means anything. I also did the update with the JoyCons connected to my system which people have said also patched the controllers.
Who knows. Just can speak from my own experiences.

There are two aquariums in my game room within 8 feet of where my consoles are kept lol. I still have no idea how they would interfere with a gaming console.

Awesome to hear...not in a rush but you've helped make me want the system...pretty sure Mario Kart could hook my son in the next 6 months, if he can learn to control his 3 year old insanity and desire to throw things when frustrated lol

I had my pro controller de-sync one time. I haven't used my joycons at all other than the setup of the system. My pro controller did de-sync that one time which was a pain because Link just stopped and got destroyed. Then eventually something popped up on the screen showing me what to do to re-sync them. Hope it doesn't happen again. It was only once, but I've only been playing 2 days....
My dock is in a closed closet with all my other equipment, but less than 10 feet away from the couch.
