Can someone explain the whole amiibo thing?

The only ones I have are all for Zelda. I have 4. Archer Link which drops a bunch of fish and meat plus a chest with a bow or arrows once a day. Zelda who drops plants and a chest with usually a shield. Dark Rider who drops various items and a chest with usually a sword. And then I also have Wolf Link from Twilight Princess that puts the wolf in the game to run around with me. He runs down wild animals for me and leaves the meat, pretty nice. They're about $16 each....

I love Bomberman, and played a ton of the XBLA version on the 360. But I have hard time paying $50 for a game that seems essentially the same as the one I got for $15.

I got it its a fun game better graphically than anything before it I think personally.


I for one have never played a bomberman game so its all new to me(usually played sports game is all)


Its kinda cool 8 stages per world and there is 5 worlds plus a boss on top of those stages at the end of each 8 stages...


Plus you can play the multiplayer solo with in game bots if ya wanted to

Yeah, for me just sports games in general will put the switch's portability as a game changer. Can't wait for some sports games

Also, this is more for if you travel rather than just bring the switch to work.

Pick up this case. It's fantastic. I got mine for $30 at Target today (they had 1 of them.)

I have a little messenger bag as my "personal item" for a carry-on, and it easily fits that case and my surface 3 (in a sleeve type thing for protection) with room to spare. It's a decent size, but it's not huge. Slightly smaller than a PS4 but about double the 'depth' or whatever you wanna call it and each thing (switch w/ joycons attached, dock, pro controller [or joycon grip], sides for cables) have their own spot to fit in.

Yeah. I liked that one just didn't think I would use it enough. I have the same brand but smaller one. Only case that has cut outs for the triggers which I just felt it was better protected.

Yeah, I was looking at those as well. My thing is that if I'm taking it somewhere, I'll be gone for days so might as well as bring the other stuff.

Pretty sure ChubbyBanana likes his smaller case as well, glad to hear those are just as high quality.

I also saw them selling the little red game cases that hold the cards separately which is cool once the library gets some padding.

Yep I have the RDS Industries brand case but the smaller one with the cut out triggers. Probably the same one you have Scott.

I didn't want the Blue Zelda one but it was the one the store had in stock. Not a big deal as color doesn't matter as I throw it in my bookbag most of the time anyways. Just wanted something to give it some protection. Comes with some Game Card Holders too. A nice hard case for $20.

There has been a lot of talk about the system and its problems and that makes me nervous because I tend to have bad luck with tech. I have had 2 gamecubes that stopped reading disk, ps3 that got YLOD and my wii that stopped syncing controllers and had issues turning off and getting a picture. With that said so far the only problem I have had with this system is that my tv that auto turns to different inputs when you turn something on will auto turn all the time when the system is plugged in even if I am not playing and have the system off I guess because it is in sleep mode or something. It is annoying so now when I am not playing I have to remember to unplug the HDMI so it will not do that.

Turn off the hdmi CEC option in the settings. It's on by default.
