Im really about to give up on nintendo, the way they handle thier prepareness and launches just rub me the wrong way and its starting to piss me off.

You cant use the escuse of not knowing "Demand would be this high" every damn time you launch something especially since its happened for as long as I could remember (Wii, Wii U, DS, 3DS, New Galaxy 3DS XL, and now Switch and Nes Classic)

I mean apparently they dont look at the preorders before launch too well either.

I don't have a wii u or a 3ds but wanted a switch so I could get Zelda and eventually Mario kart 8 back since I had it originally on wii u and adored it.

I see them in stores at least once a week. Just saw some at my local Target this morning and that's probably the 3rd time since launch there. I have seen them in Walmart and Meijers as well.

I could see how it might be tough for some to purchase depending on location but for me that hasn't been the case.

If you can play their wii u and literally be able to maybe sink in 100 hrs on their wii u I say buy the wii u version of breath of the wild


best game I ever played


would hate to have anyone miss out on the experience that this game is because of what Nintendo does.


Zelda Breath of the wild did not cheat us out. its a crowning achievement and the best thing Nintendo has EVER done.

Here where I am there are zilch zippo finito rinse repeat nothing


Even ppl that don't want them buy them and then sell them on ebay. ive seen MANY instances where stock sells out only to have 3 or 4 pop up on ebay from my zip code..

I know exactly how Candyman feels with the only difference being that im not pissed off simply because if I can't buy a Switch for $300 (you know, like it should be) before Scorpio pre-orders go up, then oh well, sorry Nintendo. Maybe later this year and next year. Rumors of an SNES Mini later this year will result in well the exact same results. Seriously, it's freaking ridiculous.

If Nintendo doesn't announced Netflix youtube apps,a virtual console including SOME wii game etc and the future of what 2018 has in store then...

I ADORE Zelda I mean love it but 2018 gets announced at e3 2017.


EVERY e3 talks about the games coming next year or two years from now. If we don't hear about Metroid at this years 2017 e3 .....? it aint happening guys

No, they are two completely separate products.

An NES/SNES/N64 (if the day comes) mini would mean nothing for virtual console. They are complementary products, not competing. Yes, there is overlap but they know better than that. Something like the mini's aren't for travel. They are nostalgia based products for Nintendo fans.

They don't want to do away with classics being played on the 3DS/Switch. They just want to give something else to the fans of those consoles in a neat little package. The virtual console will be here soon enough, I just hope it's Summer rather than Holiday season.

I think that Virtual Console and any apps will launch in September when their online service fully becomes available.

SNES mini will have no impact on VC. Bigger question will be - will Nintendo release a crap load of games on virtual console or will they do what they've done with their last two consoles and that's release a few games a month or whatever it was?

When VC finally launches, EVERY game possible should be available day one. Not day 100, not day 300, not day 500 but day one.

Granted, I know that Nintendo has to get the publishers permission and whatnot but still, this is all stuff that should have already been done and taken care of. Seriously, there's a lot of people who want to buy Nintendo stuff right now and it's like Nintendo is trying to force them to spend that money elsewhere.

Switch is HOT right now and people want to buy it (as well as the NES mini) and VC games and you simply can't unless you get lucky. Nintendo old men of congress still think that it's the 1990's. It's not. Nintendo needs to get on the ball because as HOT as Switch is right now, nothing stays that way forever.

Switch is like when a wrestler is "hot" and doesn't get the push he should get. You push that sob for as long as you can until he cools off. Same with Switch and Nintendo stuff but naturally, they all do the opposite.

Previous VC purchases need to carry over. That will go a long way in getting me to buy this thing. If that doesn't happen I'm essentially buying the switch just for Mario since I have Zelda and MK8 already and that is not happening. I'm not buying a switch if I need to rebuy all these games again. I've already done that a few times. I'm done. It's 2017 this shouldn't even be an issue. If my VC carried over I would think about retiring my New 3ds and go with this thing as a handheld.
