Anyone getting Animal Crossing? I've been on the fence about it. I like the games, but tend to lose steam after a while and move on to other things. Wonder with all of the quarantining happening in the world if that will impact sales in a positive way.

I do like the looks of the AC-themed Switch.

I d/l it last night. My wife played it for a few hours tonight, it's classic AC all the way and well worth picking up.

I just wish they allowed for the cross saving between switches to use between the Switch and the Lite.

Would be a great time for Nintendo to hook us up with some pandemic pricing for first party games. Those Mario games are always $59.99+ tax while other games are always going on sale.

That's one thing that's tough about Nintendo consoles/handhelds to me.

Physically adding stuff to the wishlist is kind of a pain, but once they're there, I love the notification system. I've had games that I added and completely forgot about until I got a notification that it was down to like $5 and I was like "Oh yeah! Let's do it!"

I very very highly recommend Overcooked 1 and 2. I would also highly recommend Death Squared. Mario Party was kind of a disappointment compared to previous Mario Party games, but it's definitely still good for family play. You could also do some of the board game Switch games...Monopoly, Risk, etc. (though obviously you could just play the actual board games in those cases too).

Don't you just go to game you want to add and hit "add to wish list"?
Or has that changed? (I haven't added any in a while)

I picked it up today. Played the mobile game some last year and thought it was cool. I like relaxing stuff like that these days. Should be fun.

That works on the Switch itself but I don’t think you can add any from your computer for example (at least as far as I can tell).

The way Nintendo handles digital game rights is so stupid. I downloaded a demo for my son to play, and the copy of Minecraft that I own on my nephew's switch suspends when he tries to play it.

There should be no circumstance where a demo forces a retail game to quit. A demo shouldn't assert any rights or have any intrusive DRM that affects another game.

Wait...a demo suspends game rights to another game? Or do you mean that there's a Minecraft demo and that suspends the full game?

A demo downloaded by the same account that owns a game that is running on another Switch will suspend that full retail game while the demo is being played.

A friend of mine put it best, Switch is God tier at things it does well, and awful at anything else.

Wow. That's nuts considering it's a different Switch altogether. I can agree with what your friend said.
