I played some Odyssey on Project Stream with no noticeable delay. WiFi. In another room. All while having my Google email open sending and receiving files. Not saying I was pushing a lot of content but just saying that I can't see how anyone would need to do a lot more than I was doing on my laptop.


Then again, unless the frame rate is really bad, I don't really notice or care. I'm not saying it was a perfect stream. Latency existed at times but it never impacted my success.

Yeah. It really needs to be seen to be believed. The prejudices against streaming are well founded and I don't blame anyone for maintaining them, it's on the providers of these services to put people in a position to have their mind changed.

Totally. Same with xCloud for Microsoft. The other aspect is pricing and value. I wonder how Stadia will cost vs xCloud, which they could include with Game Pass or something similar....

I was generally disappointed with Google's showing at the GDC Conference although I do welcome their entry into the gaming scene and feel they will be successful. However, I wanted to see all the cool games they were touting and said they were playing off stage, but have yet seen nothing since.

Even though digital streaming is the future, want to really see some cool next-gen we should hopefully be seeing on our next consoles? Here, Epic Games shows off real-time ray tracing technology for the Unreal Engine 4's destruction system, photo-realism, and cinematic, as does Unity's physics and high definition renderings that was shown at the GDC.

I think that's a good buy in price. I haven't even read everything yet. I'm willing to try it out at that price and see how I feel.

This essentially eliminates a ton of market due to people having data cap limits.

Stadia 4K streaming will use up 1TB of data in 65 hours

Google seems to think the ISPs will remove data caps because they are goggle. We will see what happens.

Or they are thinking people will just pay $50 extra for unlimited internet. Where I am at, there are no data caps.
