Re: New PlayStation 5 Details Revealed, Arrives Next Holiday Season
Outside of Lost Soul Aside, what else could Sony have that's even worth having a State of Play for in regards to PS4? They've released everything already.
By the time Sony/Microsoft reveal the release dates, prices and pre-order date, it will be the day before the consoles are in the stores. LOL.Comment

Which reminds me. How can the Xbox Series X, the most powerful console not support VR for one of their most gorgeous games releasing this year, Flight Simulator, is beyond me. This is a game VR was made for to happen. Major Fail!Comment

Re: New PlayStation 5 Details Revealed, Arrives Next Holiday Season
For me, it doesn't matter about not being able to use DS4 for PS5 games since I sold everything PS4 related. But I wouldn't want to anyway. I like the ergonomic design of Dualsense. I have big hands and I always preferred Xbox controllers. A lot of these games will try to take advantage of Dual Sense features. I know many might think it could just be gimmicky feature that they plan to immediately disable haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. But I feel Sony almost needs Dual Sense features to be a hit and taken advantage of throughout generation. I feel it is more important than the 6-Axis and Touchpad that got abandoned quick. The Dualsense is one of the their major selling points. They're trying to sell us on Full Immersion with Dualsense, Tempest Engine, and No/Instant Loading. If it is a flop, than that is a lot of time, research, and resources that were wasted. We won't truly know how we will receive it until we actually get our hands on it and experience it. But I'm sure their will be options/toggles to disable it for those not interested.Comment

Re: New PlayStation 5 Details Revealed, Arrives Next Holiday Season
I would rather have a new innovative controller over one that is basically the same just to be able to use my old controller. Plus the battery is bad on the ps4 controller so I wouldn't wanna have to deal with that for another 5+ years.Last edited by georgiafan; 08-03-2020, 03:07 PM.Retro Redemption - Starting over with a oldschool PowerBone Offense

I'm hoping that whatever PC support Sony will put games on can also take advantage of the DualSense controllers.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

3-4 hours?
I've been playing with an Xbox controller on my PC for the past month and I've yet to recharge that thing. Mofo is a damn beast.
I can look at my DS4 and the ****er needs to be recharged.

What's the matter Dani.,.I mean Peter...Don't think we might get a surprise or 2? It's also time for PSVR to get a whole lotta love again;
Which reminds me. How can the Xbox Series X, the most powerful console not support VR for one of their most gorgeous games releasing this year, Flight Simulator, is beyond me. This is a game VR was made for to happen. Major Fail!
You should put those two full names together. Hehehe.
I don't want a surprise or anything for PS4 since my plan is to trade it in once I wrap up Mafia Remake. PSVR is not my thing and I would think that Sony would start getting deals for PSVR 2 instead. PSVR is niche. The sales are under 10m right? 95% of the user install base simply aren't into it. It doesn't interest me at all with the only VR game I have wanted to play being Stormland from Insomniac but it's on Rift and just no interest. LOL.
As for Series X not supporting VR, again I see it as niche and never taking off. I do believe that VR would be better for sporting events and concerts. As for Flight Sim, wouldn't VR defeat the purpose since it's in first person and thus, you wouldn't see the plane?
Not going to lie, im very happy that thus far Microsoft is staying away from VR gaming. They can have Rift be compatible or something but I do not want Microsoft/Xbox wasting tens of millions of dollars on VR gaming. Luckily for me, I don't see them going in that direction or at least, not any time soon.
Crash 4 makes sense as it's a few months away. Not for me though.Comment

Re: New PlayStation 5 Details Revealed, Arrives Next Holiday Season
Controller wise, I will be using the PS5 controller when I eventually buy PS5 and will be using the XSX controller when I buy the console at launch. Unless it's for a second player, I don't understand why anyone would want to use a previous gen controller on the next gen console but whatever. To each their own.Comment

Re: New PlayStation 5 Details Revealed, Arrives Next Holiday Season
Being able to play games with the ps4 controller would be nice just simple saves money has you would not need to buy ps5 controllers has much but its not that big of a deal though. Crash 4 i am looking forward. Never played crash before the remakes but loved the remakes and 4 looks great to but i don't really need to see more though.Comment

There was a leaker that said this event wouldn’t have anything major as in PS5 stuff and he also said Sony is working on a new socom game for the PS5.
