This is one area, I will need help. I'm a PC guy, I look at TV tech once every 5 to 6 years when I go to buy a new TV. Me and the wife have agreed to make the step up from 65" to 75". So the last week or so has been researching.
I seen the TCL 6 series getting a lot of praise but I don't know anything about TCL & quality. The key sticking point for me, I'd like to keep it around $1,500. I find with how fast TV tech changes, its worst than a new car. Prices drop in as little as 6 months it seems. From the outside of keeping up, they seem like phones, two new models a year from all the big players.
If you have any suggestions that would be great
75 inch tv will cost you a lot if you want a good tv. Anything 75 at 1500 is not going to be a good tvComment

I've heard the TCL gets a lot of good reviews too, especially for gaming.
Your budget might be able to get 2019 TV's like Sonys 900+ series as well.
I personally seem to get a TV every 5-6 years so I think you're going to like almost anything you get. If it's gaming, the one thing I MIGHT regret is I believe my TV is 60hz, so 60fps support, and won't do 120, so that might be worth looking into. I also primarily care about movie performance, so blacks are important to me and not so much for other people.
RTINGS.com is awesome once you have a couple of items in mind since 90% chance they reviewed it in the utmost nerdy detailLiquor in the front, poker in the rear.Comment

TCL HDR is not good for gaming imo. I have one and it doesn't look good during gaming.Youtube- https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1Y...YHoeFjXQJ2Ps4g

Re: Xbox Series X ($499) and Xbox Series S ($299) Release on November 10, Pre-Orders
I can preorder a series S, would you guys do it? I'm interested in the X, but I can checkout and get one - many may frown upon it, but I could likely move it for 100 bucks after the fact if I decide I don't want it... I'm leaning to just get one as pre-orders sold out immediately for both xbox and ps5 and I'm not sure with production backlogs that new ones will be available. I read on the news that appliance manufacturers CANNOT produce enough units - they are backlogged for months.
So in that vein, if it looks like 2021 ~ march to get one I may just use the S until February and move it then idkLiquor in the front, poker in the rear.Comment

For what I’m looking for it would be a no. Guess it depends on what features you want or don’t want.

Someone also already unboxed an Xbox Series X. For those who want to see it. The packing is pretty sweet in my opinion.

Is the more expensive version the only one that’s next gen ready?

I can't wait either.....my November/December/January gaming list and schedule as of now is set as follows -
1. Watch Dogs Legion (Disc/Base Edition)
2. Immortals Fenyx Rising (Digital/Gold Edition)
3. Gears Tactics (Game Pass)
4. Assassin's Creed Valhalla (Digital/Gold Edition)
If you're wondering where Cyberpunk 2077 is, im waiting until CDPR releases their full fledged next gen upgrade in 2021.
4 more weeks to go!!!Comment
