Re: Xbox Series X ($499) and Xbox Series S ($299) Release on November 10, Pre-Orders

What games/accessories is everyone getting with their Xbox Series X / Xbox Series S?

I'm buying The Falconeer, Watch Dogs Legion and Assassin's Creed Valhalla Digital Gold Edition. Will also at some point subscribe to Game Pass to play Gears Tactics, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Wasteland 3 and the entire Halo series.

Overall, the launch lineup for Xbox Series X is better than Xbox One at least for me anyway. It's funny that a new AC is launching with the consoles and WD Legion since the original WD was set to be a 2013 launch title but was then delayed to May 2014. It's like deja vu. lol.

Battlefield 5 is one of the games that will benefit from the higher performance of the Xbox Series X. It will run at native 4K/60 FPS on the Xbox Series X.

That is not enhanced so it is just hitting last gen targets

X does 4k because it did that on Xbox One x so now it hits that natively

PRO had top 1800p on PRO so it cannot go higher then that on PS5 without a patch. Am sure It can do 4k 60fps on PS5 as well if patched or 4k 60fps with some settings dialed back compared to Series X

My TV can't do 120fps @4k, 60 will be the max for me but a 4:4:4 colour space.

I think 60 should be just fine as that is being boosted up from 30 by most console standards, 60fps is few and far between even in reg HD

I agree completely. After seeing the expansion pass and seasonal content for Valhalla, im even more hyped than I was yesterday. Hehe. I have 10 exclusives that im very much looking forward to on Xbox Series X and they have a bunch more to announce. And all of them are on Game Pass day one!!!

I requested off that week from work as well but it hasn't been approved yet.

Will be playing Watch Dogs Legion first and go from there. One thing that was announced today is the Halo: MCC being upgraded to 4K/120FPS for the campaigns and multi-player. Since I will be playing through all the campaigns, this was awesome news for me.

So many amazing things that Microsoft is doing which in turn is already making Xbox Series X amazing and we don't even have it already. LOL. This upcoming generation for XBOX is going to be the best it's been in their 20 year history. So freaking hyped and excited!!!

You’ll still get Ray tracing and better textures. So it all still look better than current gen.

Didn't even know that Gears Tactics will be 120FPS. Very nice as that's one of the launch titles I will be playing. Will be playing The Falconeer at 1800P/120FPS. Game looks great and looking forward to these games hitting 120FPS.

Just found out my local GameStop will not be doing a midnight release for the system. Employee did say they may open up an hour early on release day. Damn

Guys we are in the middle of a pandemic and on the verge of a second wave that will result in more deaths. No chance stores are going to do midnight releases. Best Buy not doing it and GameStop not doing it.
